Interview on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (Aug 29, 2007) Devon was absolutely lovely and genuinely delightful... but I gotta admit... when I first found out about the Conan interview, I had a sense of dread... would she just sit there pouting and posturing or start bragging about her prestigeous modeling successes... like most supermodels do at interviews ??? But nope... she never dropped even one name !!! No mention of Lancome, Chanel or Versace... and no name-droppin of the high profile superstars she's worked with... Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Josh Harnett etc. Devon Aoki is not yet a generally recognisable household name... yet she did absolutely nothing to big-note herself... she just casually cruised along (even with some rather absurd questions)... and yeah... she seemed to be really enjoying herself. Devon was nothing at all like the image that's portrayed on the catwalk nor in her typical icy-cold, femme-fatale type movie roles... she was ... so bright, happy and bubbly. Great interview Devon !!! |
