"Now, really, there are some inconsistancies in the news stories about the Taliban's so called "great armed forces". These "great armed forces" are a bunch of guys with sawed off shotguns and bedsheets tied around their heads driving around the desert in toyota pick up trucks from the 1960's. Uh-oh, America, watch out for that overwhelming force! I was discussing the Taliban's technology at lunch a few days ago. Has it occurred to anyone that the most recently built tank they have is a T-62 which was a left over from the U.S.S.R.'s flawed attacks on Afghanistan in 1954?? You can see where they took the red star on the side and painted black over it. Not to mention about half the rocket launchers are non-functional! They're driving around in a bunch of antique left over tanks from a country that doesn't exist anymore and half of them don't even have guns! One guy they video taped on the news had taken his only rocket which was a dud anyway and tied it to the tip of his launcher "just for show". What the heck does THAT show? That you're a weak, stupid, idiot? Granted, they do have a few 1970's models Mig 21 fighters, and a Mig 21 is not a bad plane. However, it's the "Jeep" of aircraft, in that, everybody has one. And again, half of the guns are non-functional. What are they going to do, hang an uzi out the window during a dogfight? Sorry, guys, I think our stealths might have other plans. The lovely helicopters they have do not have the ability to bank! If they miss their target they have to put into hover, do a 180, then put it in forward again! Meanwhile, our choppers can mover side to side at speeds up to 85mph! Watch out, they say, Bin Laden has access to nukes! Yes, Bin Laden does have access to nukes. Nukes that are so horribly outdated that there are no launches in the world that are operational enough to get them off the ground! Give it up, Afghanistan, YOU'RE TOAST."
