Chicano Pride

We have alot of pride. If we're gonna do shit we're gonna do it right. Us chicano's have this in common all. We are eager, proud people we work hard to get what we want and we're we stand. We are nice as long as nobody tempts us then we're mad. We do stupid, crazy stuff when we're mad maybe thats why chicano's are not afraid to pull the trigger and maybe that's why most end up in the bars. Locked up for life.

Like I said before Chicano's have alot of pride "Preferio morir de pie, que vivir de rodillas" and "El pueblo, unido, jamas sera vencido". It means "I'd rather die standing, then lived on my knees" and "Our hood, united, will never give up". These two quotes represents our pride.

Cesar Chavez a leader de nuestra raza who was a labor leader, a fighter for Hispanics achievements. He was born on March 31, 1927, in Yuma, Arizona. Late 1948 he started to fight for change. His strikes and boycotts lead to the bargaining agreements. His hard work is recognized as a triumph.

Emiliano Zapata an idol to Native American's a true revolutionary leader. He was born on August 8, 1979, in Anenecuilco, Morelos. He was a general and president of the village council who fought for "Tierra y libertad" translated to english "Land and liberty". He recruited an army of native americans from the haciendas y pueblitos and joined a mexican revolutionist Francisco Indalecio Madero. And formed the Plan of Ayala land to be distributed to Native Americans.
