I work at an afterschool program in Northern NH with 1st though 3rd grade. I am also finishing up my Teachers Prep Degree in May (I have Early Childhood Education credits through this degree and am qualified to be a teachers assistant for K-8). Before I started working for the Afterschool Program for 1st through 3rd, I worked with another afterschool program working with students from 4th grade to 8th grade. I helped with afterschool homework, therefore I KNOW how to help the children I will be watching. I also wrote lesson plans and planned activities. I have two younger brothers and lots of cousins whom I babysat (alot!)when I was younger too.
I am taking a CPR and First Aide class on April 17, 2007, this is more to refresh my memory because I have taken this before! This class will make me certified for CPR and First Aide. |
