According to several reports in the entertainment media Michael had an acting part in the renewed version of the legendary movie Planet of the apes, all we could find is the mention of Michael Jackson in the credits of the movie. Special effects for this movie were done by Rick Baker (Thriller) and Stan Winston (Ghosts)

29 Augustus 2001 - Michael Jackson at NASDAQ
Michael appeared today at the corner of 43rd street and Broadway to ring the NASDAQ bell to open the stock exchange. The entire event was shown on a jumboscreen at the nasdaq market site tower. Like you all know it also was Michael�s birthday. They had a special birthday cake and the whole crowed started to sing "happy birthday". An embarrassed Michael keep on saying "oh my god"

20 September 2001 - The second song from the forthcoming album "Invincible" can now be heard at Michael�s official website www.michaeljackson.com.

CNN 29 September 2001 - Michael Jackson is planning to help the survivors and families of victims of the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks in the USA
The song is called "What More Can I give". Michael wrote and produced the song himself. Some names of other stars who will help Michael: Brian McNight, Destiny�s Child, Seal, Boyz II Men, Tom Petty and Reba McEntire. The song will be released in English and Spanish version. Michael Jackson hopes to raise $50 million dollar. Everyting will be donated to the relief effort
Michael Jackson said: "I believe in my heart that the music community will come together as one and rally to the aid of thousands of innocent victims. There is a tremendous need for relief dollars right now and through this effort each one of us can play an immediate role in helping comfort so many people. We have demonstrated time and again that music can touch our souls. It�s time we use that power to help us begin the process of healing emmediately."
