Hello

October 6, 2008

Non-fiction writing I will probably always pursue. The "Falling in Love with God's Word" is an example of what I plan to continue to write and share.

Fictional writing I have turned over to a writing partner. If I ever became wealthy enough one of my first goals, aside from the Lord's share, would be to make sure she would have the opportunity to not work except to enjoy life and perhaps add the color to my fictional writings which I have shared with her. Hello to my better half in KAM - and if she reads this she will know who she is. I really have lost all desire to write without her input.

Goals in life - I have several:
- promoting those who get caught drinking and driving to end up with a license which looks different than adult licenses so they can not buy the booze. Just like several states do with minors and their driver's licenses. Let's give the judges the right to remove the right to drink when someone violates their rights. Taking away a license will not prevent someone turning the key on to a 4,000 pound killing machine, but not having identification needed to buy the booze sure would. Stiff penalties on those who would serve them any way. Think of all the youth saved when everyone is carded because of this new application.
- Church program where they help young adults with college expenses in return for summer help and evangelism. I am just befuddled we talk about caring and loving churches yet throw the youth away to the business world far too soon.
- While I am on this, what is wrong with the church pastors and leaders for those who think it is meaningless to instruct middle school (grades 5-8) for at least a couple of years on what and why church is important? Where is the pastoral leadership here? Would this not be the best time to prove thyselves and help with the education of our future and their life foundation before they begin the young adult temptations of high school? Think about it. I had to search out a Lutheran church since the good ol' Baptist's I attended would have none of it. My kids are thankful I did that for them (all graduated now and beginning toward establishing their lives).
- Starting a diet where I violate the rule of not eating mostly the evening meal. Oatmeal for breakfast and then wait until 7 p.m.'sh. Why? Because I use food as a crutch of life. It is far easier for me to have the will power to wait until evening if I know I have something good I can eat then. Results - losing weight and eating right (except for the time thing perhaps - but soon enough so most digests before bed time and no acid reflux and such). Sure allows for some good sleep and feeling full at the same time and not feeling hungry all the time trying other things. I am not a doctor so if I die - do not try this at home LOL. Then you will not have to hear from me anymore either though.

What is the meaning of life?

Ask
Seek
Knock

No matter the roller coaster, no matter the ducks, don't ever give up asking, seking and knocking. Truth is an absolute. Truth is truth. Period. The tricky part is getting to the truth. One MUST pursue and test whatever they believe or not believe in until truth is known.

Quite honestly - I do not know everything that is beyond this point any more. Some day I may get time to review and update if I need to. God bless you reader, in this time and the eternal one. Remember, time is our contraint, not God's. After all, He created it.
