Minor Characters

Tamako Onsen Everyone calls it Tama-chan, a hot springs turtle. It's very smart. Tama-chan can fly. It is afraid of Su because she always wants to eat it. Mutsumi give Tama-chan to Naru and Keitaro as a present after their trip together. Now Tama-chan has become a pet to everyone at the Hinata Sou.

Kuro Kanako�s cat, it follows Kanako everywhere. It talks human language.

Nyamo Namo The girl from Pararakerusu. She looks exactly like Shinobu, but more tanned. She even has a personality like Shinobu. She is helping Seta with the exploration on Parakerusu.

Liddo A small plush doll, very cute. The doll was originally from a popular anime series from when Naru, Mutsume, and Keitaro were young. Naru uses it to cover the hole on the floor that connects to Keitaro�s Room. Mutsumi is the original owner of the doll, when she was 5, she gave it to Keitaro to give to Naru and tell her the promise to go to Toudai.

Pheonix Tsuruko Aoyama's pet. It always stays on her shoulder. Later she gives the gold colored on to Motoko and now Tsuruko has the black one.

Tsuruko Aoyama Motoko's older sister. She abandoned the ways of the sword, and got married when Mokoto was young. She is very powerful, Motoko could not even defeat her.

Grandma Hina Keitaro's grandma went on a trip around the world so she left Keitaro to be the manager of Hinata Sou.

Haitani Masayuki Shirai and Haitani are Keitaro's best friends since high school. They go to the same cram class. They also failed the entrance exam just like Keitaro. They work at Never Land (an amusement park).

Mei Narugasawa Naru's Sister. Appears mostly in the anime. Only appears in the last few pages of manga.

Kentaro Sakata Keitaro's rival. Only appears in the anime. Eventually go and work at Haruka's tea house.

Amara Su Kaolla's sister. Only appears in anime. She has a pet white crocodile.

Maeda Ema Appears only in the epiloge of manga. Shows up looking for Hinata Inn and dreams of getting into Todai. In my opinion, she's like a girl version of Keitaro, she's as pathetic as Keitaro was when he first came to the Hinata Inn. If you want to see her picture, she's the one standing right next to Kitsune on the cover of manga 14. The little green thing on her head is her pet charmeleon. Named Leon(?), I'm not so sure about the name.
Interesting fact: If you read her name by syllable, no matter if you read it foward or backward, it sounds the same. Ma e da E ma. ma E da e Ma.
