The main character of the story who fails to get into Toudai (Tokyo University) three years in a roll to meet the girl of his childhood memory from 15 years ago. He made a promise to get into Tokyo University with a girl when he was 5 years old and has been trying to keep that promise. He doesn�t seem to remember the girl�s name or what she looks like. Becoming manager of the Hinata Sou wasn't exactly part of the plan, but Keitaro's life has sure become interesting in the mean time! Keitaro is the manager of Hinata Sou. When he becomes the manager, he begins to fall in love with Naru. He gets beat up by everybody and is called a pervert (he really is not) because he always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Later in the story, the girls seem to accept him as the manager. As the story goes on, the relationship between Keitaro and Naru grows. He can also sustain superhuman levels of physical punishment. Goes to the same cram school as Naru.
