The first scene shows Keitaro searching for the girls's presents he bought them while abroad. One person itsn't there - Naru. Kanako comes in and Keitaro hopes it was Naru, but it's not. Keitaro dumbly asks Kanako who she is, not realizing or remembering that she's his sister. He got lingerie for everyone (it's shown in the 3rd picture on the top). Kanako dwells on a promise she made with Keitaro of which he doesn't seem to remember. Meanwhile, Naru is up in her room thinking about how her relationship with Keitaro will progress. Then Keitaro comes through the familiar hole in the floor and they almost mutually kiss; stopped by none other than Kanako's cat. Keitaro has a present that he wants to give Naru but he keeps missing chances to do so. In this episode Kanako attempts to gain Keitaro's heart by utilizing the power of seduction. She conjures up several plans to get the residents out of the Hinata Inn so she can be alone with Keitaro. However, each time she does this, Naru is hot on her trail and foils her attempts. The upsetting part of the episode is the fact that Naru has a hard time expressing her feelings for Keitaro. Sakata Kentaro and Narusegawa Mei from the original anime series shows up in this episode. The characters were not in the original manga, so it is nice to see them in manga art-style. In the previous episode, Kanako did not want anyone to enter the abandon building behind the Hinata Inn. The reason is because if any two people confess their love for one another and spend the night there, they will live happily ever after. Keitaro sends a note for Naru to see him there so he can give her the present(ring). Naru sends Kanako in place of herself so the two siblings can work out their problems, but when she learns of the magical power of the building she goes herself only to find the magic taking place. And now Naru cannot even get close to Keitaro.
