My Hero
My Hero is a simple man
Whenever I need Him He stretches out His hand.
He wears no cape and has no super powers
But still He works on for hours and hours.
By the ache of His back and the sweat of His brow
My Hero supported us, thought I'm not sure how.
Ever trusting in God and worrying about me
I love Him so much and just wish I was half the man as He.
Never turning His back though I gave him reason,
He stood by my side through each passing season.
He has no super powers but He's my Hero indeed,
Who is this man? He's my Daddy, you see.
