A Cowboys Prayer
A cowboys life sometimes seems so long always on a new trail hardly ever home. But they keep on looking for the little strays--bring 'em back into the herd--Try and keep 'em safe.
A cowboys prayer is that some day the world will care more for each other than they do for themselves.  A cowboys dream is that the people will see we need the Lord more than He needs we.
A cowboys thoughts at the end of the trail--swing 'em all wide boys--miss that place called hell and when they get to the gate
to drive 'em all right in-Jesus He's a standing there saying, "Hey boys come on in."
Yippie ki ya,  yippie ki yo--show me Lord which way to go.  Yippie ki ya,  yippie ki yo--Take me home Lord, at the end of my road.

A Cowboys life, riding on the open range on a long Cattle drive, always makes me think of a preacher watching over His Flock. Like the Cowboys watching over the Herd, trying to keep them safe from the danger's around and the elements of weather, So is the Preacher with His Fold.  Trying to lead them on the right path thru life, keeping them safe from the danger's around and the elements that Satan might put in our path.
Yippie ki ya, yippie ki yo, show us Lord which way to go.
Yippie ki ya, yippie ki yo---Take us home Lord,at the end of our road
