Bethany pulled in a breath when she heard the knock, and she glanced quickly at Sha-Sha who was still laying in a pile on the floor. Crinkling her nose up, she eyed him a bit. “You’d better behave when she’s here, mister,” she pointed a warning finger at him, which only made him give a snort, as she walked across the living room and headed for the front door.
She took a moment to smooth out her pale blue dress before she opened the door. Immediately there was a bright smile on her features, and her eyes danced. “Ohana! Casius! It’s so good to see you both.” She was trying to calm herself down, but she was thrilled to see Ohana again, and it was apparent in her features.
“Come on in,” she stood aside and held the door open, waiting for Ohana to come in before she’d do anything else.
