Some Company; Closed to Ohana
Rushing through the house, Bethany was making sure that everything was in it’s proper place. And if it didn’t have a proper place, she stuck it beneath something bigger and hid it away so that it would at least look like she kept everything neat and tidy on a regular basis. She wasn’t a slob by any means, but she didn’t have a whole lot of company over at her house, either.

Sha-Sha was left watching her as she paced back and forth. “You have to like her. She’s the sweetest thing ever, Sha-Sha!” Bethany tapped on her lower lip as she took a small break from freaking out cleaning up to turn her bright eyes on her familiar…Who was looking even less impressed, and more bored – if that was at all possible. “You’ll see. I’m right, you’re going to adore her!” Bethany beamed at him, which only made the hell hound roll his eyes before flopping to the floor. Sha-Sha didn’t like anyone, ever, except for Bethany.

Ohana arrived beaming full of grins. Casius sat on her arm and rolled his eyes at her. "You are far too excited," he intoned in his croaking voice.

"I do not believe you can ever be too excited," she replied, practically bouncing as she stepped up to the door to knock. "Did you want to come in with me?"

"I imagine I would be in the way."

Ohana smiled. "It's up to you either way. I don't mind and you don't frighten Bethany. That's always a nice change of pace." She reached up and knocked, trying to contain her excitment.

Bethany pulled in a breath when she heard the knock, and she glanced quickly at Sha-Sha who was still laying in a pile on the floor. Crinkling her nose up, she eyed him a bit. “You’d better behave when she’s here, mister,” she pointed a warning finger at him, which only made him give a snort, as she walked across the living room and headed for the front door.

She took a moment to smooth out her pale blue dress before she opened the door. Immediately there was a bright smile on her features, and her eyes danced. “Ohana! Casius! It’s so good to see you both.” She was trying to calm herself down, but she was thrilled to see Ohana again, and it was apparent in her features.

“Come on in,” she stood aside and held the door open, waiting for Ohana to come in before she’d do anything else.

Casius bowed his head ever so slightly, as if to bow in the presence of a grand lady. He was big and intimidating to most people, but Bethany had made a very good first impression. He'd treat her with a degree of respect he afforded to very few.

Ohana beamed and stepped through the door happily. "Oh my goodness," she gushed. "I like your place," she commented as she quickly perused the decor. "And your dress. It's a perfect complement to your eyes," she added, a decidedly flirty curve to her smile now.
