About Us
In our daily lives, we are
subject to emotional and
spiritual lapses, causing
us to become defenseless
against (Satan).
It is at this time, when
we should put on the
whole armour of God
and keep our eyes on Jesus.
Furthermore, Love And Charity
provides guidance to the area youth
through our newly developed program
complementarily entitled,
the "Children's Support Group".
The Children's Support
Group Program objective,
in addition to encouragement
through interactivity, we
provide work-study,
recreational activities,
bible-study,... Our
volunteer instructor's
provide introductory training
in office-equipment, related,
yet not limited to ie; Word-
Processing Applications,
TypeWriters, Computer
operations, Internet.
The Love And Chrarity-
Homeless Shelter
to-date recieves absolutely
no State or Federal assistance, its
very existance is dependent
on faith, your generous
contributions (Financial) and
donations
(Private, Public, Retail, Industrial,
Commercial, - Organizations) for its
continuation in doing God's will.
The Love And charity homeless Shelter
was founded in 1965 by
Mrs. Louise (Mother) Hunter.
Her soul purpose in creating
the Love and Charity Mission-
Homeless Shelter was to
provide Spiritual-Counsel,
Food, Clothing and ofcourse
Shelter in addition to
other services to help
the many people in need.
Mrs. Louise (Mother) Hunter
has devoted the better part
of her life bringing
hope to others.
A mother of twenty-one children,
more than ninety grand-children
and to date thirty-four
great grand-children,
"she knows first hand
what it means to be without"
Each and every day the
Love and Charity Homeless-
Shelter through the guidance of
Jesus Christ reaches out to the
community to feed the hungry
and shelter the homeless
by providing food, shelter
and clothing in addition
to various household-items
(wares, diapers,
appliances,.....) when
available, to the needy.
Through faith, We at
Love And Charity acknowlege
that soon the day will come,
when men, woman and children
through Jesus Christ
will have blessings in abundance,
however until that day arrives,
"through your
thoughtful and generous
contributions", (Financial,
Appliances, Household Items,
Clothing, Volunteers)
the Love and Charity-
Homeless Shelter will
continue to dilagently assist
in what-ever capacity available,
those that are in need
of our provided services.
