Don't Look Back !

DON'T ... Look Back

Progress has a price. In order to go forward, we must refuse to look back... Are you allowing your past to control you, and determine your destiny? Thinking and talking about your past keeps you trapped in it. Forget your past..."Remember Lot's wife!" God wants for us to leave our past behind, so that He can bless our future. Lot's wife refused to give up the past,and it destroyed her. Follow God into something better. God wants to give us greater blessings than we could ever ask or think...But we might have to leave some things behind. If we keep the past with us, in the present, God can't help us. If we refuse to let it go- God will not take it by force. We must give it up willingly. We also cannot keep feeling guilty or condemned over every mistake we make. Ask forgiveness and give them to Jesus, and just keep pressing on toward perfection. If we are committed to doing our best- God will do the rest- So that we can rightly represent Him in this dark and dying world.

As Christians,our confidence should be in having right hearts...loving and serving God...and putting Him first in our lives. You can choose to follow God's will and accept what He is continually trying to add to your knowledge, or you can reject it because it is not what you've been taught, or you don't think it makes sence, or sounds just plain silly to the mortal mind... Whatever reason you give yourself it's always your choice. Remember, God will not force anything on you. He simply says," Come let us reason togeather." There's no greater priviledge, but you must decide if you will follow His will...or not... God give you wisdom and mercy as you seek to serve Him.
