Nicole continues her story. (Flashback) Nicole goes on saying about how Nicole called her again. The Master Bedroom. Nicole gets another call from Taylor. Nicole (answering her cellphone): What. Taylor: Listen. When you see the signal hit the ground. Nicole: What’s the signal? Taylor: You’ll see it. Tell anyone and be killed to. Nicole: What should I look (Taylor hangs up.) for? Julie enters the room. Julie: Well Nikki, are you ready to go and get married? Nicole: More then anything. (End of Flash) Scene: 2 Setting: Police Headquarters-Waiting Room Victor is telling Ryan to leave and go home. “I can’t leave Nicole here. She didn’t kill Taylor, I know she didn’t.” Ryan tells Victor. Victor continues to tell Ryan to go home, get some food, shower and go to bed and that he will be here for Nicole, and if anything happens that he will call Ryan as soon as it he learns it. Ryan still refuses. Victor then tells him, that Nicole would want him to go home and take care of himself. Ryan hugs Victor and tells Victor that he’ll be back in a few hours. Ryan leaves the police station, and heads home. Scene: 3 Setting: Police Headquarters Nicole continues to recall the events of the previous day. (Flashback) I was then taken down to the Gardens. My mother started walking then I walked. The Block Mansion Gardens; The Wedding Starts. Julie the Maid Of Honor, walks down the aisle. The wedding march starts playing. Nicole starts walking down the aisle. Nicole (In her Head): Look, for a signal. God! What the hell I’m I even looking for? I swear that if anyone gets hurt, Taylor will die! Nicole continues to walk. She looks up and notices a dark shadowy figure on the rooftop. Nicole assumes that it’s Taylor. She looks at Ryan. She reaches the front of the aisle. Father Hoffermen: Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today, to join this man Ryan Case and this women Nicole Block in Holy Matrimony. Before we continue, if there is anyone who thinks that these two should not be married please speak now or forever hold your peace. Everyone looks around. (End of Flashback) Scene: 4 Setting: Sydney, Australia Julie and Cassandra arrive back at Cassandra’s house. Julie tells her sister about Nicole’s wedding, and how someone started firing gunshots at everyone after Ryan and Nicole were married. Cassandra, then starts questioning Julie for information on her personal life. Julie tells her sister that she hasn’t started looking for someone to date since she and Victor were divorced. She says that she wants to keep herself off the market by staying single. Cassandra starts telling Julie, that spending all the holidays without anyone, and not having someone to cuddle up with on the couch on a Saturday night to watch the movie, can make people get depressed. Julie tells her that she has her daughters and always Victor. Cassandra tells her sister that her daughters will be with their family, and Victor will move on with his life, by dating again. Julie realizes that her sister is telling her that she can’t be alone forever. Cassandra tells her sister that when she returns to Maui, to start looking for anyone who she loves being with, even if it’s not romantic, just for a cup of coffee or something. Julie listen and starts thinking that she is going to find herself another person that she likes to spend time with, and the first name in her head is Neil Gates. Father Hoffermen: Ryan and Nicole are opted to right their own vows for each other. Ryan you may say your vows to Nicole. Ryan (reading from the peace of paper. Getting teary): I’ll be the air you breathe. I’ll give the strength you that you need. I’ll be the light in your eyes. When hope becomes hard to see, I’ll be your shining star, to guide you wherever you are. And I’ll promise that I’ll be by your side, Always you and I. You know your not alone. Without a love to call your own. I’ll always be right there for you. To help you carry on, a hearts that always true, Nicole I’m giving mine to you. And everything that you’ll ever need. I promise I will do. Father Hoffermen: So beautiful. And now Nicole it is your turn to say your vows to Ryan. Nicole (crying): Before I met you, I would see lovers walking, hand in hand they’d pass me by; Wish I was one them, wish I had somebody walkin’ up beside me. Looking into my eyes at night. I wanted a love to call my own. I wanted someone I could hold, I wanted someone wanting me, I wanted to know how it feels to be somebody’s somebody. I know how it feels know as I’m your somebody. Father Hoffermen: Ryan please repeat after me. Nicole, with this ring, I be wed. Ryan: Nicole, with this ring, I be wed. Father Hoffermen: In sickness and in health. Through rags and riches… Ryan: In sickness and in health. Through rags and riches… Father Hoffermen: I promise to love, cherish and honor. For the rest of my life. Ryan: I promise to love, cherish and honor, for the rest of my life. Father Hoffermen: And now Nicole please repeat after me. Ryan with this I be wed. In sickness and in health. Through rags and riches, I promise to love, cherish and honor, for the rest of my life. Nicole (crying): Ryan with this ring I be wed. In sickness and In health. Through rags and riches, I promise to love, cherish and honor you for the rest of my life. Father Hoffermen: By the laws in the state, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Ryan you may now kiss your bride. Ryan flits up Nicole’s veil. Ryan and Nicole go into a long passionate kiss. The guests start cheering and clapping. Ryan and Nicole’s love song ‘I’m Your Angel-performed by R. Kelly and Celion Dion starts playing. The two continue to kiss. Father Hoffermen: I now pronounce you Mr. And Mrs. Ryan Case. Suddenly 4 gunshots are fired. Guests start screaming. Everyone hits the ground. Ryan: Nikki, are you okay? Ryan continues to ask Nicole if she’s okay, and is getting no answer. (End of Flashback) Nicole stops telling Danny what happened the rest of the day, and asks him if he can sneak Ryan into her cell. Danny tells Nicole that Ryan won’t be allowed to see her until tomorrow. Nicole asks how long she’ll sit in jail, when Danny can’t give her an specific number, Nicole tells Danny, that he had better get her out of here within 48 hours. Danny says that he’ll do his best. Danny leaves and asks how much Nicole’s bail is set at. When he is told that its $50,000, he goes and tells Victor. Victor goes and gives them the money for Nicole’s bail. Victor then calls Ryan at home, when no one answers, he leaves a message telling Ryan that Nicole has been released on bail. Victor then heads off for the country club. Scene: 6 Setting: Maui Country Club Hope as just arrived to start getting her tennis lessons, as she is walking to met the instructors, she runs into Victor. He asks her if she wants to go and get some practice time in with him. Hope agrees and says that she is a bit rusty, since she hasn’t played since she was married. Victor tells her that she will be fine. The duo go onto the outdoor hard court. Victor and Hope get ready. The instructor comes onto the court. He tells Victor and Hope that they are going to work on her serve and his return. Both Hope and Victor take their places. Hope tosses the ball and hits it with her racquet. Victor moves and hits the ball crosscourt. Hope runs it down and hits it down the line. Victor’s their, he powers up. He notices Hope leaning over for a crosscourt shot, he goes to hit the ball back up the line. He hits the ball and it hits the net. The instructor yells the score 15-0 for Hope. Scene: 7 Setting: Taylor’s Beach House Ryan is standing at the door. He is walking around looking for something. He finds a pile of paper. He grabs it and starts going threw it. He finds the last check he gave Taylor. He gets it and puts it in the fire. He then goes to his jacket, grabs a knife and latex gloves with blood all over them, and outs them in the fire. “No one will learn the truth, and Nicole will get off the hook. This is too perfect.” Ryan says. He glances at his watch and notices the time. He grabs his jacket, and leaves, letting the latex gloves burn. Scene: 8 Setting: Maui Country Club The instructor indicates that the two switch sides of the court. He announces that Victor is serving for the match, to win 6/2 6/3. Victor serves the ball up the tee. “Ace” yells the instructor as Hope can not return the serve. Victor serves out-wide. Hope returns the ball crosscourt. Victor barely gets his racquet on her return, she runs to the net and fires the ball to the opposite side of the net. “15-15” says the instructor. Victor serves again and Hope continues to put pressure on his serve. Victor lobs it to Hope. Hope gets ready to smash the ball, but does a drop shot instead. Victor double faults giving Hope 2 chance to break his serve and serve for herself. Victor puts in a weak serve and Hope crushes it down the line to win the game. “Victor leads 6/2 5/4” The instructor tells the duo. Scene: 9 Setting: Maui Fire Department The fire alarm rings. The firefighters get ready and enter the firetruck. They then learn that they are heading over to Taylor’s beach house. Scene: 10 Setting: A back alley by the dump Danny searches for clues to prove that Nicole didn’t kill Taylor. Suddenly he finds a piece of a latex glove. Danny takes it as a clue when he notices it covered in blood. Scene: 11 Setting: Maui Country Club Hope has just finished serving. Victor is going to serve to her again, to take a lead in the 2nd set. Victor serves the ball up the tee, Hope return it right back at him. Victor then fires the ball crosscourt. As Hope runs to get the ball, she gets to the ball and smashes it down the line. “Out” yells the Instructor. Victor serves 2 aces in a row. For his next serve, Hope dumps the return into the net. Hope starts her serve with 2 double faults, giving Victor r a 0-30 lead. Hope then puts in a weak serve and Victor hits a return winner. Hope serves up an ace, saving a match point. Hope serves the ball out-wide, Victor hits the ball up the line. Hope fires in crosscourt. Victor’s ready for it and goes back to Hope. Hope then gets ready and fires the ball into the net, giving Victor the wins 6/2 7/5. They hug at the net. “Wow! Your good for not playing since your last marriage ended.” Victor says. “Dinner?” Hope questions. Victor nods his head. The duo go to the locker room and start changing. Scene: 12 Setting: Ryan & Nicole’s Penthouse Ryan and Nicole are at home, watching a movie, when the news interrupt and show pictures of Taylor’s beach house up in flames. “Police have no idea, what started the fire since Taylor was murdered early this morning. They are suspecting that Taylor’s killer’s family had something to hide in the house, so they had it torched.” The reporter reports. Nicole is stunned to see the house in a blaze, while Ryan gets nervous.
