The Wedding Part.3
Scene 1:
Setting: Block Mansion Gardens
Taylor has just fired several shots then ran off and escaped. The guests start wondering and hoping if everyone is all right and that no one was hurt.
Ryan hovers over Nicole’s body.
Ryan: Nicole, are you all right?
Ryan continues to ask Nicole the same question over and over. Ryan finally flips over Nicole and sees blood coming from her shoulder.
Ryan (holding Nicole): Someone call an ambulance.
Julie: Who was hit?
Ryan: Nicole.
Julie immediately calls for assiantace. The ambulance takes off from Maui General Hospital. Ryan tends to a hit Nicole.
Richard: Ryan, will she be all right?
Ryan: I don’t know. She hasn’t said anything since before the gunshots were fired.
Richard: I know she’ll pull this, we all just have to pray.
Jenna: He’s right. Nicole’s strong.
Ryan: I hope that you are right. I hope that she can live through this tragic ordeal.
The ambulance arrives. The paramedics put Nicole on the stretcher. They lift her in the ambulance. The Police then take Ryan, Julie and Victor all down to the police station for questioning.
Jenna, Richard, Sharon, Shawn, all go the hospital to see Nicole. The other guests follow to the hospital but most end up going home.
Scene:2
Setting: Maui Police Headquarters
Ryan and Victor are waiting for their turn to be questioned. Julie meanwhile is already in for questioning.
Dectetive Kelper: Julie can you please explain what happened at the wedding right before the shooting.
Julie: Okay, this is what happened.
Julie Flashesback to the wedding just a few short moments ago.
(Flashback)
Ryan flits up Nicole’s veil. Ryan and Nicole go into a long passionate kiss. The guests start cheering and clapping. Ryan and Nicole’s love song ‘I’m Your Angel-performed by R. Kelly and Celion Dion starts playing.
The two continue to kiss.
Father Hoffermen: I now pronounce you Mr. And Mrs. Ryan Case.
Suddenly 4 gunshots are fired. Guests start screaming. Everyone hits the ground. .
(End of flash)
Julie: Okay this is what I remember. After my daughter and Ryan gave their vows and said “I Do”. Father Hoffermen pronounced them husband and wife. The next thing I knew, someone was firing gunshots down at us at the wedding. My first intexent was just to hit the ground. So that’s what I did. When the gunshots stopped I was informed by new son-in-law Ryan that my daughter had just being shot.
Dectetive Kelper: Did you notice anything strange before the wedding?
Julie: Actually, if I recall my daughter Nicole had other things on her mind right before the wedding. I thought that it was just the regular wedding jitters.
Decetive Kelper: Did you hear anything strange?
Julie: No. Like I said it happened so fast that I didn’t even think to look up and see who was trying to kill me.
Dectetive Kelper: You just said “trying to kill me”, are you saying that this was a personal assault against you?
Julie: I don’t know.
Decetive Kelper: Thanks so much Mrs. Block you can now return to the lobby. I’ll be in touch with you if I have anymore questions.
Scene 3:
Setting: Maui General Hospital
Richard and his family await news on Nicole’s condition. They are relieved when the y hear news from the doctor.
Jenna: Doctor, tell us how is Nicole?
Dr. Green: Well, I have very good news for you.
Richard: So, that would mean she’s all right?
Dr.Green: The only thing that happened to Nicole was the fact that the bullet just hit her shoulder. So when she first saw the blood on her dress she must have fainted. Nicole is resting now, and you can all check on her in a little while.
Sharon: That’s it! She’s fine!
Dr.Green: It’s for the better that Nicole is fine.
Dr.Green leaves. Sharon walks off. She ends up in the hospital stairwell face to face with Shawn.
Shawn: Sharon, why’d you dump me?
Sharon: Shawn, I have better things to do.
Shawn: Just answer my question.
Sharon: You really want to know. Just before the wedding I got a phone call.
Shawn: So, what’s the big deal about a phone call. I get them to.
Sharon: This one is different.
Sharon flashes back to right before the wedding.
(Flashback)
Sharon: (answering her cellphone): Hello.
(Other End of the phone): Sharon, how nice to get a hold of you.
Sharon: Listen who is this?
(Other end): That doesn’t matter. All I have to say is that your boyfriend Shawn and someone by the name of, lets call her Jamie had sex while you were out of town for 3 months.
Sharon: What! That’s gross. Shawn would never betray me like that!
(Other End): No! Take a listen.
Suddenly Sharon hears to people having sex. The girl on the tape starts screaming Shawn’s name. Shawn then talks and tells the girl that this is the best sex he’s ever had.
(Other End): Now do you believe me?
Sharon: Oh my god! That bastard.
Sharon hangs up her phone.
(End Of Flash)
Scene 4:
Setting: An unknown location.
Taylor is hiding out. She has the news on watching to see if anyone is suspecting her as the shooter. It comes across the screen that Nicole was shot. Taylor reads this and gets very angry.
Taylor: That bitch! I told her to look for a sign. What more could I say! If she dies it’s not my fault, Ryan was the one who was supposed to be dead. Damn you Nicole, why couldn’t you follow my plan? Had you, you wouldn’t be in the mess that you are in now.
Scene 5:
Setting: Maui Police Headquarters
Decetive Kelper has taken Victor in for questioning. Victor answers all the questions that they ask. The police then take Ryan in for questions, Ryan breaks down for the first time since Nicole was shot. He tells them his fears.
Victor: I gave you all the information that I know. Can I leave?
Decetive Kelper: Yeah, sure. Please send Mr. Case in.
Victor: Will do.
Victor leaves and sends Ryan in. Victor and Julie head off to the hospital.
Decetive Kelper: Mr. Case we won’t keep you long. Just a few questions.
Ryan: I’m ready.
Decetive Kelper: What is your relation to the victim?
Ryan: I’m her husband.
Decetive Kelper: Do you know anyone that would want to hurt her?
Ryan: Yes!
Scene 6:
Setting: Maui General Hospital Stairwell
Sharon tells Shawn that she knows about his affair with Sarah while she was out of town.
Shawn: So, Sharon. What was your phone call about?
Sharon: You should now. Your the one that had Sarah while I was gone. Go be with her.
Shawn: I haven’t spoken to Sarah for awhile.
Sharon: So, I guess that when the two of you fucked, you didn’t talk to her before?
Shawn: What are you talking about?
Sharon: Don’t play stupid. I know that you had sex with her. I got the call.
Shawn: Sharon, I can explain.
Sharon slaps Shawn.
Sharon: Don’t waste your breathe. I don’t care. I don’t love you.
Shawn: Sharon, let me explain.
Sharon (pushing her way past Shawn): I don’t want your dumb lame ass excuses. Don’t call me or talk to me again.
Shawn (grabbing her arm): Sharon, wait please.
Sharon: Let me go, before I yell.
Shawn: Sharon let me explain.
Sharon: Why bother. I done with the drugs and all.
Shawn: You walk away and I tell Richard and Jenna that you were pregnant this summer.
Scene 8:
Setting: Maui General Hospital
Richard and Jenna are visiting Nicole. Nicole reveals the phone call that Taylor gave her right before she walked down the aisle.
Jenna: Nicole are you positive.
Nicole: Jenna she told me to get down when I see the sign.
Richard: And it was Taylor?
Nicole: Yes! Taylor was the one who shot me! I know she did!
Jenna and Richard are told by the doctor that Nicole should get more rest.
Nicole: I know that Taylor shot me, and that bitch will pay dearly.
Scene 9:
Setting: Maui Police Headquarters
Ryan breaks down in questioning.
Decetive Kelper: Ryan are you saying that your ex-fiancee shot Nicole?
Ryan (starting to cry): I knew that Taylor was crashing the wedding. She was going to kill me if I told anyone, so I kept my mouth closed, She phoned me a few minutes before the wedding started.
Decective Kelper: What did Taylor say during the phone call.
Ryan flashes back to the phone call.
(Flashback)
Ryan (answering his phone): Hello.
Taylor: Ryan, listen to me. Theirs a lot of shit that is going down.
Ryan: Taylor I don’t have the time. I’m getting married.
Taylor: Its going down after you and Nicole are married. I promise.
Ryan: What’s that supposed to mean?
Taylor: You’ll see a sign, when you do hit the ground.
Ryan: Taylor, what’s the sign? (Taylor has already hung up.)
Later as Nicole walks down the aisle.
Ryan (in his head): Just keep smiling Ryan. Taylor said there would be a sign-after the wedding is done. I hope I see the sign and I can protect Nicole and myself from her evil doings. God Nicole’s beautiful. I can’t think like that, wheres the sign what’s the sign? Damn Taylor, if she hurts anyone, I swear she’ll die.
(End Of Flash)
Ryan: So those are her words to me during the phone call and what I was thinking about as my bride walk down the aisle. I mean, I (starts crying), Taylor said a few months ago that me and Nicole wouldn’t be married long and I didn’t tell anyone, and know my wife might be dead and its all my fault.
Decective Kelper: Ryan, thanks for being so helpful. Go, get to the hospital and see your wife.
Ryan: Thanks.
Scene 10:
Setting: An unknown Location
Taylor rethinks her plan and is racking her brain thinking about what went wrong.
Taylor: God Taylor, think. Why didn’t the plan work? What went wrong?
Taylor flashes back to when she and Victor met in her hotel room 3 months ago in Dallton.
(Flashback)
Taylor: Victor, you can’t be serious that you are ending our affair! You told me that I was the only one that you loved.
Victor: That was before I knew you were engaged to my daughters future husband.
Taylor: That doesn’t matter! Me and you could have everything. Money, happiness, and power!
Victor: Taylor, I have all of that without you. I’m sorry but its over between the two of us.
Taylor: You will pay for this. I swear, if I can’t get you then your family.
(End Of Flashback)
Taylor: That’s when I got the plan. But what went wrong? I told Nicole to watch for signs and same with Ryan. Oh my god! Bruce! It’s his fault!
(Flashback)
Taylor: Bruce, listen very carefully. Release the balloons when you hear clapping. Do you understand?
Bruce: Taylor, I know what I have to do. I can handle it.
Taylor: You better.
At The Wedding
The guests clap as Nicole and Ryan are pronounced husband and wife. The couple starts kissing.
Taylor: Bruce, where are the balloons? Oh god, I must have missed them! Just start shooting!
End of Flash
Bruce walks into the unknown location of Taylor’s whereabouts. Bruce brings her the balloons.
Bruce: Hey Taylor. You forgot these at the wedding.
Taylor: You jackass!
Bruce: What did I do?
Taylor: I was supposed to shot these at the wedding remember! I told you at the wedding.
Bruce: Well I can pop them now!
Taylor: No! If you pop them, were both dead. They are filled with bombs that was supposed to kill Nicole, so I could have Ryan!
Bruce: I was too busy at the wedding. I was listening to discman.
Taylor: You dummy, your the reason that I barely hit Nicole. I should kill you for it!
Bruce: You don’t mean that do you? Not your own brother, right?
Taylor: Try me.
Scene 11:
Setting: Maui General Hospital
Ryan is told by Victor and Julie that Nicole was barely hit with the bullet. Ryan and Nicole celebrate when Dr. Green tells her that she is able to go home.
Ryan: Nicole, I’m so happy, that you are all right.
Nicole: Me too. When I first saw the blood, I thought that I was going to die.
Ryan: I guess its a good thing that you aren’t a doctor.
Nicole: Why is that?
Ryan: Passing out at the sight of blood, just think about you being in surgery.
Nicole: Yeah I guess that’s funny.
Ryan: Well shall we head home, since you can’t go anywhere for a few weeks?
Nicole: We shall.
The couple enter their car. Ryan starts the drive home.
Nicole (In Her Head): Should I tell him about Taylor’s phonecall? No, if I tell him then he’ll go after her. He’d kill her for sure. Just drop it and forget about it. What he doesn’t know can’t hurt him.
Ryan: Your sure quiet. Anything wrong?
Nicole: No. I’m just thinking.
Ryan: About what?
Nicole: Taylor McBride.
Scene 12
Setting: Maui Dump
Taylor is dragging Bruce’s dead body to the dump. Bruce has been shot several times in the chest and once in the head which instantly killed him.
Taylor: Oh Bruce! I’m so sorry! I didn’t want to kill you but you are to dumb and would have told somebody where I was hiding out. This way, its for the better. You can go up to heaven and be with mom, wait mom’s in hell and I guess you can go to hell and see her. I didn’t want to kill you, please forgive me!
Taylor starts remembering killing Bruce as she dumps his body in compactor.
(Flashback)
Bruce is running water for a bath. Bruce is still listening to his discmen. I thought I’d sneak in and drowned him, but then he attacked me and me shooting him was in self defense. I mean you try to drowned your own sister do you?
I grabbed his head and smashed it into the mirror. It shattered. When he picked up glass and started to cut me, I kicked him in the ribs. He feel to the ground yelling “Taylor, I can’t breathe! Help me”. That’s when I finished him off. I ran to get my gun, and I shoot him several times in the chest. When he was still begging me to let him live, I put two bullets through his head. When he died, I checked his ribs and learned that I had broken all of his ribs by kicking there in highheel shoes.
Taylor (dragging Bruce’s lifeless body): Its better this way, trust me. You could have wreaked it for the both of us. I mean I loved you but your a threat to me and my future. God forgive me, but it’s Bruce’s fault that he’s dead.
