Edited By: Darren Rowe episode.23 Funeral For a Friend Scene: 1 Setting: Block Mansion "I choose Cassandra." Neil says to the women. The sisters instantly hug. Cassandra gets up, and gives Neil a big kiss on the lips. "I never thought, that it was going to be me." She says holding back her tears. Neil then bends down on one knee, and pulls out a box from his pocket. Scene: 2 Setting: Maui General Hospital "Richard, I killed Shawn." Sharon cries. "Sharon, no you didn't." "Richard, I was driving the car that killed him." Richard once again tries to comfort Sharon, who keeps saying that she's sorry for killing him and its all her fault. Scene: 3 Setting: Nicole & Ryan's Penthouse Nicole runs out of the front door, and races to the side of the penthouse. She runs down, to the spot where Brenda had landed. She stops dead in her tracks. "Oh my god." Nicole says as she slowly walks towards the spot where Brenda landed. "This can not be happening. Not again." Nicole says. Scene: 4 Setting: Taylor's House; Dallton "Finally, he's sleeping." Taylor says walking into the living room. "Yeah. I can't believe that we're his parents." "Ryan, I know this is killing you and your marriage. But John needs his father in his life, and that's you." Taylor says. "Taylor, the only thing I want to do is be the best father I can for my child. My marriage will get through this." "What did Nicole say about this?" "Listen Nicole, she understands. She's was pissed off that you won't allow her near John. She'll come around." "The only reason is because I know what kind of person Nicole is. She curses, she..." "I know. Nicole can be a bit of a brat. Especially if she doesn't get her way. Nicole is a high-matence person, she knows that and is happy with who she is." "She needs to change if John will ever be allowed to go to your place." Taylor says. Scene: 5 Setting: Maui General Hospital "Good news Sharon. Dr. Greene just told us that you can leave the hospital." "Really, that's great. What's going on with Shawn, and his family? Have they heard the news?" Sharon quickly changes the subject. "Well I left Jenna with their number. I'm hoping that they have gotten the news, and that they have started their grieving period." "And what about his funeral?" "Sharon, I think that it will be family and close friends only. But I haven't heard anything. So we'll see." Richard says. Richard hands Sharon a set of new clothes, and leaves the room allowing the teen to change her clothes. Scene: 6 Setting: Victor & Hope's Apartment Hope finishes washing the dishing, dries her hands and picks up her book the she's reading. Victor rises from his desk where he is working on some files for Block Enterprise. "Hey Hope, I forgot a file at the office. I'll be back in awhile, is their anything you want me to grab for you while I'm out?" Victor asks. "No, I'm okay." Victor grabs his jacket and keys and leaves the house. Hope watches from the sofa, as Victor takes off for the office. Hope returns to her book, suddenly the shower in the bathroom turns on. Hope puts down her book, and slowly walks towards the bathroom, remembering what was said to her earlier "You fucked with me and my family. Payback's a bitch." Hope opens the door, and is instantly thrown to the ground. Hope quickly gets up and sees who pushes her down. "Well Hope looks like we've met again." the mysterious man says. "Listen, my husband will be back in a few minutes, and he will kill you for hurting me." "Shut up and listen Hope. Your husband will be having car troubles. I made sure that he won't be back for awhile." The man walks towards Hope. "Stay away from me. Stay the hell away from me, I'll kill you." "Hope, wake up. Come on Hope wake up." Victor says as he shakes Hope. Hope jumps up. "Victor, where is he? Where is the bastard?" "Hope, who are you talking about? "Mark." Hope says. "Who's Mark?" "My ex-stepson." "Hope, what happened in the past. Why is he back here causing trouble?" Scene: 7 Setting: Ryan & Nicole's Penthouse "This can't be happening." Nicole says to herself. She looks in horror, as there is only a little trace of blood. "Where the hell is she? Brenda should be lying here, near death!" Nicole gets up and looks around, no sign of Brenda. She races back up the penthouse, she looks around, still no Brenda. "God, what the hell have I done?" Nicole says "Nicole, what do you mean?" Ryan asks coming into the home. Scene: 8 Setting: Block Mansion "Cassandra, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Neil asks. "YES! YES!" Cassandra cries with excitement. Julie quickly congratulates the couple, and rushes out of the room. She enters her bedroom, falls on the bed and breaks down in tears. Scene: 9 Setting: Victor & Hope's Apartment "When I was married Henry, he had been getting messages about someone coming to kill him. Well Mark was studying in the backroom, Henry had come home early, and I thought he was an intruder, he never surprised me. I had a gun and I shot him. It killed him instantly. Mark rushed in and grabbed the gun, moments later he was carted off to prison for killing his father. I went into shock and was sent to a hospital in Switzerland, I spent the next few years their, and I blocked the memory, seeing him made it all come back." "Hope, we'll fight Mark together." Victor says Scene: 10 Setting: Damon House (Flashback) Sharon, Richard, Jenna and Danny along with Shawn's family watch as the casket is lowered into the ground. Tears stroll down Sharon's cheeks. (End of Flashback) Sharon lays in bed thinking of the casket with Shawn going into the ground. Sharon rolls over and looks at the clock, it reads 4:32 am. Sharon continues to remember good times with Shawn, when suddenly her mind drifts to the words that Jenna said to her, "maybe its time we move. We can start fresh in a new house." "Jenna, wants to move. She wants me to forget. It won't happen." Sharon says to herself.
