The Wedding-Part.2
Scene:1
Setting: The Block Mansion Gardens.
Julie is welcoming guests to the wedding. She notices that Jenna and Sharon aren’t talking, she takes Jenna aside.
Julie: Jenna what is wrong with you?
Jenna: Nothing why?
Julie: Well its just because you and Sharon aren’t even smiling. It’s like you just had a fight.
Jenna: Well, we had a fight at home.
Julie: Jenna, what I have been telling you this whole time? You are trying to hard. Ease up a little bit and she’ll come around.
Jenna: It’s not that easy. We’ve caught her doing drugs.
Julie flashback to the Engagement party.
Julie is doing her usual walk around to make sure everyone is doing fine. She notices Sharon Damon and her boyfriend Shawn Walker doing weed outside by the pool.
Julie: If you want to do your crap, do it outside of my property.
Sharon: Why? You and your family act like the bigshots of the town. Just because you own the only international company, doesn't make you better.
Julie: Who the hell are you? How dare you talk to me like that? Do who know who I’m?
Shawn: A better question is, do we care?
Julie: Oh you stupid teenagers are all the same. Smart-mouthed little punks.
Sharon: Save it, you old bag.
Julie: How dare you. Both of you will regret this.
Shawn: Yeah, whatever. What re you going to do?
Julie leaves and the two teens continue to smoke the weed.
(End of Flash)
Scene:2
Setting: The Master Bedroom; Kelly and Nicole finish getting ready for the wedding. Nicole comes out in her wedding dress. She and Kelly bond once again.
Nicole: Well, what do you think?
Kelly: Oh Nikki. You look, like a bride.
Nicole (smiling): I’m a bride.
Kelly: And a beautiful one.
Nicole: Oh Kelly. Why are you leaving again?
Kelly: Chad’s father is dying. I want to be there for Chad.
Nicole: I’m going to miss our chats, and more importantly you.
Kelly: Well, I’m just a phone call away.
The sisters hug. They are interrupted by Chad who has to talk with Kelly. Kelly and Chad leave. Nicole does some finishing touches to her make-up. Suddenly her cell phone rings, she answers. Taylor’s on the other end.
Nicole: Hello.
Taylor: Well, Nicole. I can’t believe I got a hold of you.
Nicole: What do you want?
Taylor: Now is that anyway, your supposed to talk to somebody wishing you luck?
Nicole: Thanks for all your warm wishes Taylor.
Taylor: I’m not done, yet.
Nicole: Taylor listen I don’t have the time for you right now.
Taylor: Just shut up and listen. If you want to live, you are going to stall as long you have to. There will be a sign. When you see the sign, you duck and your sure to live another day.
Nicole: What’s that…(Taylor hangs up.)
Scene:3
setting: Kelly’s room. Chad and Kelly talk. Chad tells Kelly the bad news about his father.
Chad: Kelly, we have to leave now.
Kelly: Before the wedding? Why?
Chad: It’s my father.
Kelly: Chad, what’s wrong? Oh no did he…
Chad (starting to cry): Yes, Kelly. He died a few moments ago.
Kelly (hugging Chad): You go and tell Ryan and I’ll talk to my mom and dad as well as Nicole.
Scene:4
setting: The Pool House; Sharon and Shawn met in the Pool House. Here Sharon and Shawn reach a breaking point in their relationship.
Shawn: Sharon, what did you want to tell me?
Sharon: Well. Its about us.
Shawn: What about us?
Sharon: Shawn, you know I love you and always will.
Shawn: Yeah. I love you to.
Sharon (crying): It’s over. I can’t be with you.
Sharon storms out crying. Richard notices her leaving and moves in on Shawn.
Richard: Shawn. What the hell did you do to my daughter?
Shawn: What! Me? You and your wife are the ones who made her dump me.
Richard: She dumped you?
Richard goes into a deep thought.
Shawn: She’s whack. You need to control her.
Richard: Sorry, Shawn. No time to talk.
Richard takes off. He finds Sharon, crying in the car. He gives the tip to Jenna
Scene:5
Setting: Outside Block Mansion; Taylor set’s her plan into action.
Guard 1: Taylor, is that you?
Taylor: Oh Bruce. I thank you now my brother for getting my into this damn wedding.
Bruce: Well as long as you don’t get caught.
Taylor: Don’t worry Bruce. Everything will go according to my plan. Now hold my purse while I put my diguse on.
Bruce looks in her purse and notices a gun. He hands Taylor her purse. She then enters the mansion.
Scene:5
Setting: The Family Room in Block Mansion. The Block family gathers to say good-bye to Kelly and Chad. All except Richard, who has already said good-bye.
Kelly: So I guess this is it.
Victor: Chad, and Kelly. You take care of yourself and your family Chad.
Chad: Don’t worry Victor. I’ll do everything I can.
Victor and Kelly hug. He and Chad shake hands.
Kelly: Oh Nikki. (The sisters go to hug): I’m so sorry for missing your wedding.
Nicole: You won’t miss a thing. I’ll show you all the pictures when you get back.
Kelly: Promise?
Nicole: Promise.
Chad: Well Kelly we better be off.
Chad hugs both Julie and Nicole. He then grabs his bags and leaves.
Julie (crying): Kelly. Call me.
Kelly: Mom, stop crying. You look like a mess.
Julie: I know. And this is before the wedding.
Kelly: Well I better go. We have plane to catch. Bye Nikki, good-luck.
Nicole and Julie: Bye Kelly.
Kelly gets in the car. Chad and her honk until they are out of the driveway.
Julie: Why do I feel like I’ve lost her?
Nicole: She’ll be back. She’ll be back.
Scene:6:
Setting: The parking lot. Jenna comforts Sharon after dumping Shawn. Sharon and Jenna start bonding.
Sharon: Jenna, I want to thank you.
Jenna: For what?
Sharon: Helping me. You helped me figure out that Shawn was just a crush, and that I’ll have many other crushes before I find the right one.
Jenna: Sharon, I’m always here for you. No matter what you may think. I’m your mother and I love you. Don’t ever forget that.
Sharon: Do you now how you can help me?
Jenna: I’ll do anything. Name it.
Sharon: Who’s my real mother.
Jenna: Sharon. No. I told you that its the past. She probley dead by now anyway.
Sharon: You said, you’d do anything for me. Now look at you. Your nothing but a damn liar and hypocrite.
Sharon storms out of the car.
Scene:7
Setting: The Master Bedroom. Nicole gets another call from Taylor.
Nicole (answering her cellphone): What.
Taylor: Listen. When you see the signal hit the ground.
Nicole: What’s the signal?
Taylor: You’ll see it. Tell anyone and be killed to.
Nicole: What should I look (Taylor hangs up.) for?
Julie enters the room.
Julie: Well Nikki, are you ready to go and get married?
Nicole: More then anything.
Scene:8
setting: an undisclosed location on the Block Property.
Taylor: It’s about time, that this damn wedding started. Now just wait for the perfect moment. Don’t blow it now, we’ve done this before and Ryan will have no idea what hit him, literally.
Taylor grins.
Scene:9
Setting: The Block Mansion Gardens; The Wedding Starts. Julie the Maid Of Honor, walks down the aisle. The wedding march starts playing. Nicole starts walking down the aisle.
Nicole (In her Head): Look, for a signal. God! What the hell I’m I even looking for? I swear that if anyone gets hurt, Taylor will die!
Nicole continues to walk. She looks up and notices a dark shadowy figure on the rooftop. Nicole assumes that it’s Taylor.
She looks at Ryan. She reaches the front of the aisle.
Father Hoffermen: Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today, to join this man Ryan Case and this women Nicole Block in Holy Matrimony. Before we continue, if there is anyone who thinks that these two should not be married please speak now or forever hold your peace.
Everyone looks around.
Father Hoffermen: Ryan and Nicole are opted to right their own vows for each other. Ryan you may say your vows to Nicole.
Ryan (reading from the peace of paper. Getting teary): I’ll be the air you breathe. I’ll give the strength you that you need. I’ll be the light in your eyes. When hope becomes hard to see, I’ll be your shining star, to guide you wherever you are. And I’ll promise that I’ll be by your side, Always you and I. You know your not alone. Without a love to call your own. I’ll always be right there for you. To help you carry on, a hearts that always true, Nicole I’m giving mine to you. And everything that you’ll ever need. I promise I will do.
Father Hoffermen: So beautiful. And now Nicole it is your turn to say your vows to Ryan.
Nicole (crying): Before I met you, I would see lovers walking, hand in hand they’d pass me by; Wish I was one them, wish I had somebody walkin’ up beside me. Looking into my eyes at night. I wanted a love to call my own. I wanted someone I could hold, I wanted someone wanting me, I wanted to know how it feels to be somebody’s somebody. I know how it feels know as I’m your somebody.
Father Hoffermen: Ryan please repeat after me.
Father Hoffermen: Nicole, with this ring, I be wed.
Ryan: Nicole, with this ring, I be wed.
Father Hoffermen: In sickness and in health. Through rags and riches…
Ryan: In sickness and in health. Through rags and riches…
Father Hoffermen: I promise to love, cherish and honor. For the rest of my life.
Ryan: I promise to love, cherish and honor, for the rest of my life.
Father Hoffermen: And now Nicole please repeat after me. Ryan with this I be wed. In sickness and in health. Through rags and riches, I promise to love, cherish and honor, for the rest of my life.
Nicole (crying): Ryan with this ring I be wed. In sickness and In health. Through rags and riches, I promise to love, cherish and honor you for the rest of my life.
Father Hoffermen: By the laws in the state, I now pronouce you husband and wife. Ryan you may now kiss your bride.
Ryan flits up Nicole’s veil. Ryan and Nicole go into a long passionate kiss. The guests start cheering and clapping. Ryan and Nicole’s love song ‘I’m Your Angel-performed by R. Kelly and Celion Dion starts playing.
The two continue to kiss.
Father Hoffermen: I now pronounce you Mr. And Mrs. Ryan Case.
Taylor: Its time.
Taylor grabs her gun. She points. Suddenly 4 gunshots are fired. Guests start screaming. Everyone hits the ground. Taylor takes off running. Taylor escapes.
Ryan: Nikki, are you okay?
Ryan continues to ask Nicole if she’s okay, and is getting no answer.
