Ryan walks in. “Nicole what’s going on?” he questions. “I have to tell you. I know who killed Taylor” she says to her husband, “Are you going to tell me?” “Guess” Nicole says with a laugh. “I don’t know.” “Victor! My father killed Taylor! I saw him!” Nicole says with a laugh. The Next Morning Scene: 2 Setting: Victor and Hope’s Apartment Victor rolls over and looks at the clock, it reads 8:34. Victor gets out of bed and grabs his robe, the person is still banging on his door, they have been their since quarter to eight. ”I’m coming, hold on.” Victor yells. He opens the door and finds Ryan standing their. “Ryan, what can I do for you?” he questions. “We need to talk.” Ryan says. Victor allows Ryan into his apartment. The men have a seat at the kitchen table. Scene: 3 Setting: Damon Household Jenna walks down stairs, and hears Richard doing the dishes. “Hey honey.” She says as she grabs a cup of coffee. “How was your date?” “Fine. We ate at Oceanview, and then just hung out.” “You mean at the beach.” “No. I was up-set by some comments and I went their.” “I saw him put his arms around you, as the sun was setting on the beach.” “You were spying on me.” She yells. “No. I was their picking up our daughter from a party, and then I see you and him there.” Richard snaps back. Jenna puts down her cup of coffee and walks into the living room. “Don’t leave, we are having this out.” Richard yells. “This conversation is over.” Jenna yells back. “I mean it was one date, and now your acting like I was just caught sleeping with the guy. Stop being so damn jealous and open your eyes that we are just friends.” “Jenna, I don’t care about the date. Your the one that can’t see that he has the hots for you. He wants us to fight like this so that we split up and you go running to him for comfort, this is what he wants don’t you see that.” “Richard, Danny is my friend. He is happy for us because we are happy. Because we have what he wants. Your over reacting, like you always do. “Whatever. We can deal with it later then. I’m going to be late for work. I’ll be late, me and Nicole have a long photoshot ahead of us.” Richard leaves. “Your allowed to be late, your allowed to have girlfriends and go on dates. But I have one and its the end of the world. I’ll show him yet.” Jenna says to herself. Scene: 3 Setting: Block Mansion Julie goes down stairs, and enters the kitchen. The maid brings her some breakfast. As she is eating, the doorbell goes. The maid returns from answering it, with a bunch of flowers. Julie takes the flowers, and reads the card. “Forgive me” it says. Julie takes the flowers and places them in the trash. “If I get anything, that you think might be from Neil, please throw them away. I want nothing to do with him, anymore.” She orders her maid. Scene: 4 Setting: Block Enterprise Rooftop Richard continues to set-up for the shoot. Nicole comes on the roof-top. “Hey Richard. Can we talk in my office.” She asks him. The pair walk back to her office, leaving the others to the rest up. The arrive in her office. She locks the door. “Richard, last night, I bought some drugs, and I used some to get over my fear of Taylor haunting me. And I said a few things to Ryan that is going to break up my whole family.” “Nicole! Why’d you buy drugs? I thought you were going to see Jenna, later today?” “Richard. I can’t go to your wife. I can have no one know that Taylor is haunting me. That’s why I bought the drugs, and I was starting to see her again, so I did some, and before I knew it, I had just told Ryan that my father killed Taylor.” Nicole says. “Victor?! Victor! Oh my god! Nikki, how do you know all of this?” “I saw him do it. I saw my father stab Taylor! My father killed her!” says Nicole. Scene: 5 Setting: Victor and Hope’s Apartment The men are talking while drinking coffee. “Victor, last night Nicole told me something. She told me that you killed Taylor. Is it true?” "What! Why would she say that?" ”Victor, come on. Is she right? Did you kill Taylor?” “Yes. I killed the bitch. She wrecked my marriage to Julie, and she was threatening my daughters marriage. She had to be taken care of.” “Why didn’t you confess? Why did you let your daughter go to prison, and almost spend the rest of her life in prison for a crime that you committed?” “I was going to bribe the jury and judge to make sure that Nicole did not go to jail. This way it would be one of those unsolved mysteries.” “Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but I will have to tell the police the truth, as I feel that you should pay for your crime.” “Ryan don’t you dare. Nicole would never forgive you. It would destroy your marriage and when I would get out, you would best be dead or out of Maui.” “Victor, the truth has to come out.” Scene: 6 Setting: Maui General Hospital Danny walks into Jenna’s office. When he finds it empty, he leaves her a note. Danny then slips out unnoticed and unseen. Jenna returns from seeing a friend. She enters her office and goes to her computer, she sees the note on the screen. Jenna reads it. “Dear Jenna, Thanks for a wonderful evening. I had a lot of fun, so much fun in fact that I was hoping we could do it again, maybe tonight. I know what your husband would think, but I think I can get you to have a good day, you sounded sad on the phone earlier. I was thinking that maybe we could go to the Annual Fair at the National Park. Call me later and just give me your answer. Hope to hear from you. Love, Danny Scene: 7 Setting: Block Mansion “Ms. Block, do you know that the Annual Fair is starting this afternoon? I was thinking it would be great for you to go and check it out.” “Oh. I guess it couldn’t hurt. I mean its better then me sitting in this huge house all day. Get the car ready, I’m off to the fair.” Julie says as she grabs her jacket. Scene: 8 Setting: Ryan & Nicole’s Penthouse A person has been calling all morning, but never leaving a message. The person calls again. “This is Ryan and Nicole’s place, we are unable to take your call so please leave us a message after the beep and we’ll get right back to you, thanks bye….. (Beep) (Faintly heard a baby crying in the background.) The person then hangs up. Scene: 7 Setting: Maui National Park Julie is walking around looking at all the games that they have set-up and the other things for the children. She then takes a seat by the stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Canadian Superstar Celine Dion.” The audience roars with excitement. Celine Dion walks onto the stage. “Thank you, thank you. For my first number, I’m going to a love song, that was from a movie called Up Close and Personal.” The music starts playing. “For all those times you looked at me…” Celine sings. Julie gets up and starts walking. She runs into Neil. Scene: 8 Setting: Maui Police Headquarters Ryan has just arrived and is waiting to talk to the police in chief. Victor, Nicole and Richard rush in after him. “Ryan! Ryan! If you do this, I will hate you forever.” Nicole begs. “It’s for the best Nicole. You’ll see it my way soon.” “Ryan. Come on man. Lets go and deal with this in private.” Richard says, hoping to avoid the situation. “Ryan, please. Please lets talk about this like adults.” Victor pleads. They all turn and notice that the Police Commander is coming. “Come on Ryan.” Richard says. “The truth is coming out, today.” Ryan says to the group. “Ryan, you’ve left me no choice. Your either revealing the truth and if you do you lose me for good. I won’t take you back. If my father is arrested, I’m gone.” Nicole tells Ryan. Scene: 9 Setting: Maui National Park “Because You Loved Me…” Celine continues to sing. Julie and Neil, stare at each other. “Excuse me.” Julie says as she pushes her way past Neil. “Wait!” Neil says. Julie stops turns around and sees Neil standing there, waiting to talk. Julie then turns her back and continues to walk, leaving Neil standing by himself. Neil watches as Julie walks further away from him. Scene: 10 Setting: Danny Hunter’s Office Danny is busy doing paper work, when Jenna arrives. She enters his office. “Hey there. I got your note. I thought we could do lunch too.” Jenna says revealing a picnic basket behind her back. Danny looks up and smiles. Scene: 11 Setting: Maui Police Head Quarters “You reveal the truth, and you lose me forever. I’m not joking Ryan. What’s your choice?” Nicole yells. Ryan stands there silent, looking at everyone. The commander, walks up. “Excuse me, how can I help you?” he asks, Scene: 12 Setting: Damon Household Sharon and Shawn are making out on the couch, the phone rings. Sharon looks and sees that the school Is calling. Shawn quickly looks at his watch. “Sharon, were late for our Diploma exam!” The couple grab their bags and rush out of the house. Scene: 13 Setting: Maui Police Head Quarters “Excuse me. Can I help any of you?” The Commander asks again. “Well Ryan, can he help you?” Nicole asks. “Yes. I mean no. I mean Yes. I mean no. It was just a false alarm.” Ryan says calmly.
