 Herbert wakes up.
He has a bowl of cereal for breakfast...
 ..and gets dressed.
Although Mr. Wiggles is unaware of it, it is his birthday today. Herbert heats his cat food up in the microwave to make it a little more special.
He then spends approximately one hour and forty minutes lying on the couch, cutting the split ends in his mustache.
Herbert walks to the coffee shop down the street. On the way, he disdainfully notices a discarded milk carton on the side of the road.
Once at the coffee shop, Herbert enjoys several cups of his favorite tea.
As it's a little chilly outside, Herbert decides to take the bus to the pet supply store, rather than walk.
Once there, he buys his usual brand of cat food.
Herbert spends a long time searching for just the right squeaky toy for Mr. Wiggles.
Once he is satisfied that he has found the perfect toy, he walks home, rather than wait around for another bus.
Immediately upon arriving home, he presents Mr. Wiggles with his birthday present. He has decided against throwing a party for him this time, after last year's unpleasantness.
Herbert has a plate of ravioli for dinner...
...and then spends several hours working on his manifesto.
Herbert goes to bed with his clothes on. For reasons unclear to him, he is unable to sleep.
