((original message))I feel that there are a lot of fans out there that are confused with exactly what is going on with AJ right now. I am going to try, as best as I can, to help fellow fans get through this. It is a tough time for Everyone. AJ. The other boys. AJ's family. Us. Everyone is hurting right now, and everyone needs to come together.

Set aside your petty differences right now. Leave them be. Forget it. AJ needs you! Brian, Kevin, Howie and Nick need you! Your fellow fans need you! This is the opportunity for fans to learn something, and become better people. Take something bad, and make it something good. AJ made a mistake, and from his mistake you can learn something.

I am so proud of him for getting the help he needs. It takes one hell of a man to admit he has a problem. All of the real fans will grow stronger because of this, as the guys will too. We all know now just how very much they each mean to us, how much happiness they have brought into our lives. There wasn't one true fan out there that didn't worry about AJ, that didn't pray for AJ, that doesn't hope he recovers fully.

Although the media have been slightly mixed, by coming out with this, they have done their fan base (and even people outside of that) a great service. People that know their friend has an alcohol related problem, or a problem with depression will now consider getting them the proper treatment. I love them now more than I did before. They are real people, who care about each other as well as their fans. I am praying for AJ, as I hope you are too.

I want to take this opportunity to say something though. There are people reading this right now, who I know have a friend who drinks heavily, is depressed or does various drugs. I advise you to step up, and talk to your friend as the Backstreet Boys themselves did with AJ. You will be doing them a great favor, believe me. Take this as your first warning to get them the right help.

I want to thank fellow fans. Your thoughts are a reflection of my own. I want this site to help each and every one of you deal with this properly. Don't worry so much, okay? I know some of you are very depressed by this, but don't be. Know that AJ will fully recover, and be in better health than he ever was.
