| Monday-Gym 8:25-9:10 (wear your gym clothes to school) -Art 1:05 Tuesday-Mass 8:30-9:30 Wednesday- Music 9:55-10:40 Thursday- Gym 8:25-9:10 (wear your gym clothes to school) Friday- Health 10:05-10:35 (every other week) -Library/Computers 1:35-2:25 (we split into 2 groups and rotate) I need volunteers for: Art Library Computers Please let me know!!!! You have to have attended the Protecting God's Children Program in order to volunteer in the classroom. The First Grade school day is different than a Kindergarten school day and we will transition into this together! I value the importance of area time, play time, and recess as much as I do our curriculum! Every day the children will have 2 inside or outside (depending on the weather) recesses and many days we will be able to have area time(center time). Recent pediatric studies (2006) have shown that unstructured playtime can help children become more creative, discover their passions, develop problem solving skills, and learn how to relate with others. I encourage all students to explore, play, build friendships, and learn! |
