Language Arts: We have started taking 10 word spelling tests and are still being quizzed on our sight words. We are doing a Daily Language Activity (DLA) five times a week. This is where we correct sentences-spelling, punctuation and capitalization. We are doing lots of reading and are continuing to be quizzed on our reading weekly. We are doing many writing prompts as well as journaling.
Math: We are finishing addition and beginning subtraction.
Social Studies: We have talked about Christopher Columbus, Fire safety, and self esteem.
Science: We went to a pumpkin farm! We have talked alot about animals and insects like bats and spiders.
Religion: We are learning that Jesus was once like us and how and where he grew up.
