Language Arts: We are continuing to learn about contractions, predicting, plot, sequencing and comparing and contrasting. We are writing and reading everyday.
Math: We have finished our money unit! Please continue to work extra hard at home practicing counting, coin values, and recognizing coins. We are reviewing fact families. We are learning how to tell time to the half hour and hour.
Science: We have learned about whales, ocean life, and dinosaurs.
We are setting traps to catch leprechauns and are writing what our wishes would be if we found a pot of gold.
Social Studies: We are talking about schools of the past and the present.
Religion: We are learning about Lent and the Holy Spirit. We have talked about Jesus' sacrafice and what we can sacrifice for Him. We have learned about prayer and why it's important. We are talking about Holy Days and preparing for Easter. |
