We begin taking our Math Speed Tests in January every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I give the first graders three minutes for each test. They will have extra time on Fridays. We start with addition and then move on to subtraction. If a child finishes all the tests, then they will begin to take the 2nd grade tests. The Math Speed Tests are meant to increase speed and memorization and I encourage you to practice at home. Here are copies of each test that you can print out and practice with at home!
