Language Arts: We are still working on adjectives that tell shape, size and what kind. We can point out all compound words that we see! Contractions are now part of our writing and spelling tests. We are learning about Cause and Effect in our stories and are making some graphic organizer charts on characters and settings.
Math: We finished our money unit and our time unit. We are measuring everything we can with inches and centimeters.
Religion: We are talking about good choices and bad choices. We are learning many stories about Jesus. We have had many Lenten prayer services and are excited for Easter to come! We are also learning about the Holy Spirit and we are preparing for our Mass which is May 19.
Science: We have talked about how our brain and respiratory system work. We have learned about plant life, rainforest animals, and the life cycle of chicks and butterflies. We are learning ways to take care of our Earth!
Social Studies: We are working with maps and are learning about wants vs. needs and goods and services.
