With
the United States heading towards a full blown recession due to the ever
increasing oil prices, the number of unemployed continuing to rise, and
the American Dollar value continuing to decrease, the American public is
slowly reaching a desperate level.
An
unemployment rate of 5.5 percent, for the month of May was reported in an
article written by Jeannine
Aversa, AP Economics Writer. Considering the current US
population count was 304,345,650 on 12:57 GMT (EST+5) June 15, 2008, according
to Population Clocks, US Census Bureau, that’s an estimated
total of 16,739,010 Americans currently unemployed.
Gas
prices reported across the nation continue to increase by the day. According to GasBuddy.com,
California reports the highest average price of $4.574 per gallon, while
Missouri reports the lowest average price of $3.814 per gallon.
The
value of the American Dollar decreasing, while the EURO continues to rise,
adds more stress to the American economy.
In a Yahoo News article titled Dollar
mixed amid prospects for US rate rise, it was reported:
“Despite gains this week, the US dollar has fallen by about 15 percent
against the euro and more than 12 percent against the yen in the past
year.”
As
a result, of the many economic stressor Americans face daily, SCAM artists
everywhere are banking on the number of people who are desperately seeking
work at home jobs and opportunities. The best way to avoid SCAMS is to
become informed. Opportunities to work
from home do exist. However, finding
the companies that offer these opportunities requires hours of lengthy
research and patience.
