When we awakened on that fateful morn,
The day was September 11, 2001
No one could imagine as they arose
Just what would come with this dawn.
They each started their day as they normally do
Not knowing what this day would bring
Never realizing that before this day was through
They’d feel the bite of the terrorist sting.
I’m sure the passengers never once thought
As their plane took off and soared into the skies
About evil people, taking over that plane
That this would be the last day of their lives.
As time passed it became apparent,
That something just wasn’t quite right
And the peace they’d been feeling
All too soon it turned into fright.
For these men, they were too cowardly
To fight us in battle face to face
They hid behind their religion
Let innocents take their place.
They claim that we’re the evil ones
As murder they do commit
They crashed into those buildings
Now through the ashes we do sift
So many many innocent lives
Were lost on that fateful day
But you’ll never be forgotten
As for your souls we do pray
Those terrorists just didn’t realize
As they crashed those planes that day
They believed they could destroy us
But we’re proud, this U S A!
For over this country, you’ll never win
For we’ll stand one and all
Even when our buildings you destroy
This country will NEVER fall!
For, you see, America lives within us
It’s deep down in our hearts
We fought to gain this freedom
This to you I do impart.
So may God always Bless My America!
May she continue to reign proud and strong
May her enemies fall quickly in defeat
For this country and her people to God belong!

To All those who lost loves ones on September 11, 2001,
they will never be forgotten. Their courage and bravery
will always be remembered as they gave the ultimate sacrifice
for our country, their lives.

The terrorists just realize when they attacked us that terrible day that they "united" us once more.
In a country that has been plagued with scandal and political intrigue
we all stand "united" against our enemies, one and all.
After all we are, "The United States of America".
