| The Friends for Orphan Education Society (the Friends) seeks to promote the general well being of orphans, abandoned and needy children by providing a home situation, attention and care, quality formal education, employable skills and any such other things that will be in the interest of the child. |

| The Friends for Orphan Education Society was founded in 1993 at Avlorto Klikor (Ghana, West-Africa) by Evangelist David K.A. Kporfor. It is a locally based non-profit, non-governmental organisation. It was registered under the Ghana Company Code in 1994 and also with the Department of Social welfare as a charity in 1996. |
