The purpose of this website is to bring out the true meaning of free speech, something we hear and read about so much. What, specifically, are our free speech rights?

According to Louis Worth Jones, who has independently researched the matter for 20 years, there is a freedom -- an absolute freedom that has to do with SPEECH, but there is no freedom of SPEAKING anywhere in civilized society. There is a mountain of difference.

We all know there is no "freedom" to falsely shout fire in a crowded theater, or to make a "bomb-aboard" joke while in an airport, or to libel another, or bear false witness, or give away military secrets. Why is it, then, so often said that everyone has a right to say what one pleases, and a "right" to speak one's mind?

The sober fact, Jones contends, is that free speech doctrine has been so misconstrued that we do not have democracy in our country, and that we have witlessly been led to believe there is a Constitutional right to behave as one pleases in the public forum, including burning the American flag, the symbol of our national unity.

Viewers will find it difficult to understand Jones' writings unless they believe democracy is the rule of, by and for the people and not just some of the people. That's you and me, and all the citizens, together.

Jones implements the works of the noted ACLUer Alexander Meiklejohn, and says in effect that a new tyranny over our minds has taken place. But please read on.

Questions are invited. Also counterarguments, and discussion. This is what true democracy is all about. And it's not about shouting at each other and calling names.
