Dear Mommy,

In my young life, I have already learned many things.

I have learned...
That you, greeting me a "Good Morning" when I wake up each day is enough to make my day.

I have learned...
That there is no more peaceful feeling than when I am in your arms.

I have also learned...
That there is nothing sweeter than when you put me to sleep and feeling your heartbeat next to mine.

I have also learned...
That taking a bath is really enjoyable when doing it with you.

I have learned...
That simple pleasures such as taking a walk with daddy and you could really be a delight.

I have also learned...
That you really try to make the best cakes every second day of each month. I find that really sweet.

I have also learned...
That you really sing well. Well, at least much better than daddy. And yes, you also dances well and it really perks me up.

I have also learned...
That I can really feel your love even when you are tired, sad or even angry sometimes.

I have also learned...
That you can really set my heart all aglow with your cheerful ways. Did you know that you have the most infectious smile I have ever seen? But of course, daddy's laughter is also something. Both of you could really give me a good laugh.

On your birthday, I have nothing to give you but these flowers...

This big smile...

lots of kisses...

Do you want to have my bear?

To say that you are really the best in the world is not enough...

But I would like to tell you of daddy's and my personal thoughts...

We're glad there's you to smile at us
And brighten up our day,
To share our thoughts and understand
The things we do and say.

We're glad there's you to laugh with us
At ordinary things,
To show us what is special,
In everything life brings.

We're glad there's you to be with,
And we think it's time you knew,
Just how happy you have made us,
And how glad we are there's you!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Love,

Louis Roi
