Lord,

You invite all who are burdened to come to You.

Allow Your healing hand to heal me.

Prayer for Healing

O Holy Spirit, divine Spirit of light and love, I consecrate to You my understanding, my heart and my will, my whole being for time and for eternity. May my understanding be always submissive to Your heavenly inspirations and to the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church, of which You are the infalliable Guide. May my heart be ever inflamed with the love of God and neighbor, may my will be ever conformed to the Divine Will, and may my whole life be a faithful imitation of the life and virtues of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to whow the Father and You, Holy Spirit, be honor and glory forever. Act of Consecration to the Holy Spirit

Oh God, Master of this passing world, hear the humbled voices of Your children. The Sea of Galilee obeyed Your Order and returned to it's former quietude. You are still the Master of land and sea. We live in the shadow of a danger over which we have no control. The Gulf, like a provoked and angry giant, can awake it's seeming letheragy, overstep it's conventional boundaries, invade our land, and spread chaos and disaster.
During this hurricane season, we turn to You, O loving Father. Spare us from tragedies whose memories are still so vivid and whose wounds seem to refuse to heal with the passing of time.
Oh Virgin Star of the Sea, our beloved mother, we ask you to plead with your Son in our behalf, so that spared from the clamaties common to this area and animated with the true spirit of gratitude, we will walk in the footsteps of your Divine Son to reach the heavenly Jerusalem where a stormless eternity awaits us. Amen.

Prayer for Hurricane Season

Oh Holy Mary, Virgin Mother of God, who as Our Lady of Guadalupe didst aid in the conversion of Mexico from paganism in a most miraculous way, we now beseech thee to bring about in these our times of early conversion of our modern world from it's present neo-paganism to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of thy Divine Son, Jesus Christ, starting in the Americas and extending throughout the entire world, so that soon there may be "one fold and one shepherd", with all governments recognizing the reign of thy Son, Jesus Christ the King. This we ask of the Eternal Father, through Jesus Christ His Son Our Lord and by the powerful intercession--all for the salvation of souls, the triumph of the Church and peace in the world.

Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe

Blessed Mother Mary, we turn to you in prayer for all the people in these United States. We again place ourselves in your care, in the gentle hands that cradled the Child Jesus.
We ask you to make us alive in your faith, more generous in your love, more trusting in your hope. Teach us to imitate Jesus, as you did, and always to follow Him with your courage.
Mother Mary, help us to become a people who hunger for justice and who burn with compassion for those who suffer in our midst. Make us a people who cherish and defend the dignity of every human person. Free us from all selfishness and self-interest, that we might be the builders of the Kingdom of God.
Immaculate Mary, help us to stand among the family of nations as a people of compassion, generousity, and peace. Make us a people of vision and courage, who will gift this world with new life, new hope, and the unity of which your Son died.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires. O Saint Joseph, so assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your devine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. O Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. Saint Joseph, Patron of departing souls -- Pray for me.

This prayer was found in the fiftieth year of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505 it was sent from the Pope to Emporer Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death, or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy, or shall be burned in any fire or shall be overpowered in battle.

Say for nine mornings for anything you may desire. It has never been known to fail, so be sure you really want what you ask.

Prayer to Saint Joseph

Most wonderful Saint Luke, you were animated by the Heavenly Spirit of Love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His Divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings.

May the Holy Spirit, instructor of the faithful, help me to understand Christ's words and faithfully apply them in my life. Amen

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

O God, who gave to St. Peregrine an angel for his companion, the Mother of God for his teacher, and Jesus for the Physician of his malady; grant, we beseech Thee, through his merits, that we may on earth intensely love our holy angel, the Blessed Virgin, and our Savior, and in heaven bless them forever. St. Peregrine, pray for us.

St. Peregrine (rhymes with ter'rapin) was converted by St. Philip, O.S.M. He entered the Order of the Servants of Mary in 1283. Thus began 62 years of unbelievable penance as Peregrine made reparation for the sins of his youth. His feast day is on May 2nd. St. Peregrine is universally invoked as Patron of Cancer Victims because a cancerous growth on his own leg was miraculously cured.

A Daily Prayer for Priests

Jesus Good Shepherd, Great High Priest, today I lift to you in prayer all of our priests. You left us Yourself in the person of the priest. Mold them into what You want them to be. Let them be You to each person they meet. May they fill all the needs of those who turn to them today. Send someone to lift their spirit and to be Jesus to them when others knock them down, to encourage them when their hope is gone. Give them all the strength and courage they need to persevere in holiness when under trial or just worn out from saving souls. Please bless us with many more holy priests. Teach us to love and appreciate all of our priests and to see You in them.

I Consecrate all preists to the Immaculate Hands and Heart of Mary, Our Mother of Divine Love Patroness of Priests. I thank You for their priesthood. Keep them close to You. Please enfold and protect them in Your Mantle of Divine Love. My Lord Jesus, I trust in You! Amen.
