| It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Edward (Ted) Towers, 88. He passed away at Delta Hospital on the morning of October 8th after a battle with cancer.
Ted was born Jan. 11th, 1917 in Churchtown, England, the eldest of six. He was pre-deceased by his wife Nicole, brothers Bernard, Tom, Chris and sisters Winifred and Agnes. |

| Ted, grew up in Preston, Lancashire, and being the eldest, took over his father's bakery in England upon his father's sickness. With the war approaching, he signed up in the Royal Air Force where he became a wing commander. While Ted was in Paris he met his wife Nicole, and soon they were married. |
| With a new wife and a small daughter, Ted moved to Canada in 1956, where he came to settle in Ladner and bought a small Real Estate company which he later expanded into Cory Agencies Real Estate and Insurance company. |
