Louise Lombard:
A Very Unofficial Website
This is a very unofficial website about Louise
Lombard, one of the stars of "The House of Eliott" and
"Bodyguards." She has also appeared in "Chancer" and
Russell Mulcahy's Tale of the Mummy . This site was started
in the summer of 1997 by a couple of fans who wanted to share
their information about this actress and her career with the rest of the
internet.

(September 7, 2002)
Sorry I haven't updated this website in over two years. But in the meantime, an official website has launched and is located at www.louiselombard.net. Be warned though: It's slow!!! Web designers, if you're reading this, please don't get carried away with the animated text. It will drive visitor's patience!. I won't edit any information on this site anymore, as there is a more up-to-date and accurate site now.
But thanks to the many of you who have supported this website over the year. In particular, thanks to Agnes, Cecil, Jamie, Julie and Rachel.

According to the PFD site, Louise is working on a film called Diggity for director Tom Reeve.
Sorry I've been away from computers for the past six weeks. If you sent me an e-mail anytime from April 1 through April 15 and I haven't responded, I never received the message.
Concerning those e-mails I did receive, I've been informed that I've made an error on this website pertaining to "Chancer" videos. It appears that series 2 videos had been available at some point in the mid-90s. Thanks to Simon.
As for updating this website, I haven't had a computer of my own since March 2000 so keeping up with materials and maintenance has been very difficult. I do have the "Metropolis" screensaver but cannot upload it to the Internet due to the aforementioned problem.
(January 10, 2000)
Geocities changed the Guestbook format so it looks like we're starting all over again. I only changed the code on the this page so the Guestbook links on the rest of this site won't be working properly for some time.
(December 18, 2000)
It appears that G-wizz.net has removed the "Metropolis" pages from their site. Luckily, I have the Louise-specific pictures on my site. However, I do not have the interviews or the screen saver. The webchat never happened (in case you're wondering).

A picture of Louise Lombard appeared in a Dutch publication last Month (October). View it here. Thanks to Fer

News for U.S. fans: In case you haven't seen the ads, Esther will be airing on Sunday, November 5 at 9PM EST on the PAX channel.
(September 25, 2000)
There is information about Claim on the internet. Click here for the site of the movie's Dutch producers or here for the actual movie website. Thanks to Ingrid for providing this info.

Well, Peters Fraser and Dunlop has gotten their database up. You can access Louise Lombard's entry (and a lovely headshot) here. According to the site, her current project is a movie called Claim. No further details at the moment.
In other news, U.S. fans may get to see the Bible adaptation of "Esther." Word is that PAX has picked it up but no air date has been given.
And I've gotten rid of the Amazing Forums message board.

I've managed to redesign the Photo Gallery. It's not perfect but it works. As for the webchat, I have no idea when or if that will happen. Keep checking http://www.itv.metropolisonline.co.uk/ for information about this event.

I've added more images to this site, all courtesy of Granada Television.

These are the same images that could be found on the official "Metropolis" website. They also have a downloadable Louise Lombard screensaver (as well as others for some of the other cast members).

Yes, this website has been redesigned yet
again. The first major change to this website is the new
guest book. Now you can leave a message for Ms Lombard in the hopes that
she might come to this site and read your greetings. I still don't know if
Ms Lombard knows that this site exists but she has a better chance of seeing
your messages through a guest book than through sending me an e-mail.
As for Ms Louise Lombard...
(May 3, 2000)
Last night's webchat with Ms Lombard has been postponed. Details should be posted to the official "Metropolis" website soon.
(April 28, 2000)
On Tuesday, May 2nd, Ms Lombard will be participating in an online chat at www.itv.metropolisonline.co.uk at 23:00.
(April 23, 2000)
...she is
taking a break from Cambridge University to appear in a few projects. One
of these projects is "Metropolis" which airs May 1 at 10PM
on ITV. You can read a new article about Ms Lombard on this site or on the
London Sunday Times archive. (Many thanks to Cecil for reporting this.)
Many thanks to Agnes, Cecil,
Jamie, Julie and Rachel for providing much of the material that makes this
website possible.
