They want more. They want thrills which money can't buy. Mr. Thomas Crown (Pierce Bronson) heads a multi-billion dollar corporation, lives in spacious house in the heart of New York City, collects fine art. So what does he do for fun? He races and crashes multi-million dollar catamarans, vacations on beautiful Caribbean islands, and steals Monet from fortified art museums. Yes, it's all in a day's work for Mr. Thomas Crown. That is until he meets Catherine Banning (Renee Russo). Ms. Banning is an insurance investigator sent to find the Monet stolen by Mr. Crown. Mr. Crown tells his therapist the only woman who could truly trust him is a woman whose interests are in complete conflict with his. Let's see, Mr. Crown is a thief who does not want to be caught, Catherine Banning is an investigator sent to catch the thief. Yeah, I think she fits his criteria. From their initial meeting she realizes he's the thief and on their first social meeting she tells him so. She also sleeps with him too but what's a little exchange of bodily fluids amongst adversaries? Can they overcome their distrust of each other to nurture the underlying attraction? Hey might as well go find out. Anyways, they're both rather easy to look at. This gets 3 � go's.
