Submitted by: The Kitty Foo Fa Starring: Sandra Bullock, Jason Patric, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison Directed by: Jan De Bont, Jack N. Green Genre: Action, Suspense (or lack thereof) This movie, attempting to live off the success of part one failed miserably. Didn't we say that sequels do NOT work?!?! Bullock, as expected w/her brain power, returns to this sequel. At least Keanu was smart enough to avoid it.. or just too horrible to even be a part of it. sad cases either way.. But instead of a bus running away this time, you have a gigantic, not as big as Titanic though, running away like Teletubbies... The boat must have heard the Song of Four. The plot and acting skills are all very forgettable. Due to the lack of substance in this movie and its inability to even stir up some inspiration on the part of the critic, here's an interesting fact: Prevention in public health measures is not meant to fight mortality. It is simply attempting to hold off chronic illness in the population till the naturla death time has arrived (approximately 80 yrs old). This serves as a cost effective way of managing healthcare. This phenomenon is known as compressed mortality. So to return to the dull movie, it gets one Go.... end of discussion. ![]() | |
