Well, this film was director Kubick's last work but he certainly didn't leave with a bang (Note: There was more than one bang in the movie). In this movie, a couple ventures to the edge of infidelity without ever physically cheat on each other. Basically, Tommy and Nicky played their roles well but nothing ever puts this film over the so-so mark. Kidman did however pass Louise's "togetherness" test but neither of the couple passed Bob's morality test. Overall, too drawn out, too much skin, and just flat out boring at parts. Oh yeah, Nicole pulled a Gwyneth (Note: see "Shakespeare"). This gets 2 go's for being hyped up.
