The movie gives its audience a taste of this mysterious lifestyle that is only heard about. But it is the love story between Ben Seigel and Virginia Hill that makes this piece worthwhile. A story of two individuals passionately in love but masking it behind the manly voice of Virginia and the crazy mind of Benny. For those of you who are repulsed by the usage of the term "broad" for women, you may want to make another selection as this piece also touches upon the false assumption that women are inferior and sex toys. This movie receives 3 go's for its decent attempt to become an oscar-winning film. But afterall, it was only an oscar-NOMINEE.  | |
