Here's the place I'll be adding film reviews of items I have seen (and in most cases, own a copy of). I'll also be bringing in some reference to items I have reviewed on IMDb, and adding some snapshot thoughts on TV programmes and radio programmes where I can.

Those films ...

I have a large collection of films ranging back to the 1890s, including a significant number of musicals from every decade from the 1920s onwards. Although this is my favourite genre many more are represented in my collection, including westerns, crime, war films, romances, period drama, and thrillers. I have a particular interest in the quirky and unusual, and also in theatre adaptations including a large proportion of the BBC Shakespeares.
