1. Get plenty of rest before a gig. Don't start chopping firewood at 4:00pm
2. Never take a long hot bath just before a gig. Soggy-soft finger tips don't work well.
3. Powder your palms with talc just before each set. Reduces neck skid.
4. Wait till the third or fourth set before ya start guzzling brewski.
5. Smile once in a while. Don't spend the whole night staring at your left hand.
