| Colson: The lyrics came to me pretty quick late one night. I was thinking about a girl I dated at the end of my freshmen year and about how one reason I got out of it was because I felt, for whatever reason (insecurity on my part, most likely) I could not trust the girl. The song is not about her but, its from the point of view of someone who cannot trust the person that they are in a relationship with and has good reason not to. I think it was also inspired by the situation that two of my best friends are in and then me trying to empathize with them. It's really just about infidelity. | ||||||||
