Nickel Creek knows it's no different witht them ! They're kind, humble people who haven't let the business make them bitter, and remember that the fans are the reason they exist. | Fan: Jessica Age: 17 Location: Wyoming Hobbies/Talents: Theater, movies, music, reading, band (clarinet), tin/penny whistle, and violin. I'm in student council, key club, girl scouts, and NHS. Reason of Interest in NC: They are I group I finally found with whom I can relate, musically. I've grown up with the genre of music that NC seems to convey perfectly. | A recent drawing of Chris :o) Update: On October 31, 2003, I gave this picture to Chris Thile after a sweeet performance in a cafe in St. Cloud. He almost crapped his pants!!(sorry...strange explanation, but he was really excited) He quizzed me about what I used, and had me sign it! I was thrilled, and I hope he still has it and enjoys the picture. Now, all I have is the memory and a copy of the picture. *sniff!* Hehe. Well, enjoy Chris!!! |

| Fan: CandyLu M. Age: 14 Location: Washington State Hobbies/Talents: I'm pretty much a music freak. I practice playing my mandolin at least 5 or 6 hours a day, everyday. I play some guitar, a teeny bit of violin, and a tad bit of piano. Reason of Interest in NC: My dad had heard of them from a friend, and bought their first CD to give it a try. I didn't pay much attention to it until one day, I listened and couldn't turn it off! Now I'm hooked. Chris Thile, the amingly talented guy, is the one who got me started into the "Mandolin World"! I admire all of them for their talents, and for bringing such joy and love of music into my life! |
