Education
2001- 2005: Athens University of Economics and Business: PhD studies in Outsourcing of Human Resource Management functions. The theme combines Human Resource Management and pure Economics knowledge. The doctorate was funded through two scholarships: (a) by the State Scholarship Foundation and (b) by "Irakleitos", a scholarship programme for doctoral candidates of the Greek Ministry of Education in collaboration with the European Commission
1999-2000: University of Newcastle: Master of Arts in Human Resource Management. Grade: 65%. Major courses in: HRM, Organisational Behaviour, Business Strategy and Employment Law. Dissertation Subject: "Online Recruitment in IT companies:A view on the motives".
March 2000: Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Grenoble: Courses in International Human Resource Management. The courses were offered as part of the Master in HRM degree of University of Newcastle, with collaboration among the two Institutions.
Jan.1997-June1997: Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Marseille: One semester spent in Marseille, on the grounds of Erasmus EU programme of student exchange. Courses taken in: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Business & Environment.
1994-1998: Athens University of Economics and Business: Department of Economics. Grade: 7,7/10. Scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation for the 2nd year of studies.
1994: Highschool completed at the Ecole Greco-Francaise des Ursulines. Grade: 19,5/20.
Paid Professional Experience
December 2001- now:

Athens University of Economics and Business: Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Human Resource Management, under the direction of Professor Nancy Papalexandris. In this position she assisted in the research carried out in the field of International Human Resource Management (The Cranet Network) and in the field of leadership style and organisational culture (GLOBE Network) .

Was also responsible for managing the Administration of the MSc in Human Resource Management, for the first and second year it was run, therefore supervising 2 administrative employees.

Was member and head of the organising committee of the 2nd and 3rd International Conferences "Human Resource Management in Europe: Trends and Challenges", in October 2002 and May 2005

Builted and manages the site of the MSc in Human Resource Management

Nov. 2004: Lectured the course"Human Resource Management" at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Postgraduate Programme on "Business Administration".(20 hours)
March-April 2004 Lectured the course "Introduction in Management" at the University of Athens, Master in e-Business Management (20 hours)
Oct. 2003: Lectured the course"Human Resource Management" at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Postgraduate Programme on "Business Administration" (20 hours)
June 2002- August 2002: Execution of a report (literature review, questionnaire and statistical analysis as well as writting), on Electronic Procurement Systems for the Health Sector, notably European hospitals. The research was funded by the European Union, as part of the "Optimal Public Procurement in the Healthcare Market Place" project
March 2002 - June 2002 5-hour long lectures to employees of the Greek Postal Service (ELTA), at the Organisation's Training Center, on "Basic Economics"
November 2000- December 2001 Participation in a research dealing with the use of modern, flexible technologies of production (CAM, CAD, CIM) in the Greek industry. The research was organised by the National Technical University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics and Business and funded by the EU.
September 1998- August 1999: Employment at the small company "Health-Care"- Importing and wholesale of pharmaceuticals. Major tasks: Economic Department: Accounting and financial tasks (accounts, imports, taxation, payroll, banks, logistics).
 October 1997- June 1998: I conducted on a daily basis training programmes for primary school and high school students in museums of Athens.
July 1997: Participation in a research project conducted by the Athens University of Economics and Business, in the field of fabric and clothing sector in Greece.
