GUESS WHO?

The mystery woman in the picture

(Sigh)  What a life!
Who is she?

I can tell you this, she's not a Las Vegas show girl.

See  page 2 for hints of her identity.
LIFE ISN'T FAIR
Who says that life is fair? The world is full of conflicts. Even in nature, things are not peaceful as they might seems. Plants, insects, animals, humans, all must compete against each other. Nations, organizations, religions, idealogy are all vying for dominance.

Everything is interconnected, one event or one decision can trigger a sweeping change. The future is written in the past. What you do now  is creating the future.  Leave your mark in a positive way, you should direct your actions to a desired outcome for the future.

Express yourself!   But not everyone can express themselves in writing. There are two ways to communicate in any language: -- orally or in writing. There are times when oral and written communication goes hand in hand. There are also situations when each medium should be used alone as the appropriate way to communicate.

One can be trained in the rules of English grammar, but no matter how proficient you are in grammar, expressing yourself or your ideas in a way that every word become alive is an art! You can acquire it thru training or if you're lucky, an inborn gift.

If you are able to spark the reader's imagination, (orally or by written words) and take them into your own world to feel and  share your ideas and experiences, then it  is truly a remarkable gift of expression!
LAS VEGAS VACATION
We just got back from a 5 day vacation, unfortunately, we have no pictures to share because my camera was stolen!

Thieves!
My camera was swiped by two individuals. Due to our carelessness we presented an opportunity for these crooks.  I wasn't even aware that I lost my camera untill we arrived home.

Here's another unsavory experience. The interior light of our vehicle was left on for 2 days. There goes my remaining $60 for a towing truck to come over and give me a "jump start".

Incidents like these are part of everyday life. Somehow, despite the aggravations, it made our vacation livelier. We learn from our experiences. Next time around,  we'll be more careful.

So remember, whenever you ventured out, or, even when you just stayed home, never let your guard down.
LAS VEGAS SHOWS
For entertainment, we watched two shows: "Mystere" and "Lance Burton". They were almost similar in contents --  magic tricks, stand-up comedians, and dances with elaborate colorful costumes typical of Las Vegas shows.

Then we spent the rest of our time  touring the "Strip" admiring the magnificent view of building architectures. Taking pictures here and there and observing other vacationeers. Oh yes, putting money in the slot machines that just gobble up but never regurgitate! You never win. Darn bandits!

Gambling is a very expensive habit and very addicting too. Time for us to kick out the habit and just save for another vacation instead.

We were suckered in buying a time share vacation resort and also won a bonus vacation. We were given 7 destinations choices.. Our next vacation would be Florida!  The only place where we have a known relative. It will be a re-union for gradma and her younger brother uncle Geronimo.
