GEM REMEDIES

As crystals have powerful vibrations, it is easy to transfer these vibrations to water.  Gem remedies also known as elixirs can be taken internally--unless the stone is toxic.  They can also be applied to the skin or put into bath water.  Remedies such as Black Tourmaline can be put into a mister in water and sprayed into the room.

TO MAKE A GEM ELIXIR...

Place a cleansed, nonfriable crystal in a glass bowl with spring water (Place friable or toxic stones in a small glass jar and then in the glass bowl.  This is the indirect method.)  Stand the bowl in the sunlight for twelve hours and/or then in the  moonlight. (depending on the stone) Remove the crystal and bottle the mother tincture in a glass bottle with an airtight stopper.  To keep for more than a week, add fifty percent brandy or vodka as a preservative and store in a cool, dark place.   Add to bathwater or make a dosage bottle.
