The Lovers and an Angel
1998.  Shawna Luttrell

Sitting on this seat,
where an angel looks down on me.
With leaves changing color,
lie below two lost lovers.
And shed a tear in the middle of each,
where once their hands use to reach.
Before the day they swore their love,
that would last forever to the angel above.
And gray was the color of the angel's eyes,
for all these years shes watched and cried.
For a love forever and ever will show,
and the wind of time will forever blow.
And in the graveyard they lay together,
always by the side, binded forever.
With a love so strong and an angel by their side,
even in death the love never died.
