Godfame
98 Shawna Luttrell

You squirm along the walls,
You feed off of their lies.
You believe in a god,
That has covered up your eyes.
Theyve sown your mouth shut,
Youve learned to live unspoken.
Theyve challenged your right to be free,
And the right to be truthful youve broken.
And now your eyes are blackened,
From the dust that makes you go blind.
Has threatened your sight to see,
And the world is how you live it, so unkind.
Spoken truths, that have no meaning,
Lies become your nightmare and reality.
Walls become your own known world,
A god is now your only trinity.
A life plastered and shaped,
To fit their own thoughts of you,
A world of death and solitude.
Some will live like maggots,
Some will be considered insane.
While some die of the depression,
Of the god who gets all the fame.
