Everything Im Not
2000 by Ragdall

Im not your lover,
if it means,
sitting home by the phone, waiting.
Im not your wife,
in the dark.
When you whisper that other womans name.
Im not your friend,
when you sit in silence,
when theres something that should be said.
Im not a person,
when you treat me,
exactly how you make me feel.

Im not your lover,
when your hands touch.
Something other then my heart.
Im not your wife,
when your love,
is somewhere other then home,
Im not your friend,
when Im crying all alone,
instead of in your arms.
Im not a person,
when Im with someone,
who makes me feel a little less,
myself.
