Lotus
uses various parts from other car manufacturers which is quite normal in the car
industry and essential if Lotus wants to survive as a car manufacturer. Some of
those parts are listed below.
The
engine and transmission come from an MGF.
The
side indicator repeater lamps come from an Opel Corsa. Halfords also sell them.
You can also get colored and smoked ones like I got.
The
number plate lights are from a Rolls Royce
The
door mirrors are from a Rover 100.
The
Radio aerial come from an Opel Corsa.
The
switch gear comes from a Peugeot 106.
The
windscreen wiper comes from a Citroen AX.
The
window winders are supposed to come from the Mini
The
fronts are AP and are used on the rear of Mitsubishi EVO
