| Heartache From The Past by lotus_princess From the moment I first saw you My heart began to race Unable to concentrate on anything All I can see is your lovely face We shared some good times together Laughing and talking as friends Keeping up with the charade I hope this will never end Wanting to tell you how I feel But afraid you would just reject me Like the moon in the lonely sky I wait here patiently As the days passed by And still I am not with you Wishing you show me a sign Oh please tell me what should I do? My chances with you had run out For you have found someone new Without even saying goodbye All that remains is the memory of you It took many sleepless nights For the pain to fade away To forget the heartache from the past And move on with a brand new day 7/24/02 |

| Calendar Guy by lotus_princess I�ve found the man of my dreams In the month of July He has the most perfect hair And gorgeous big brown eyes Though I don�t know much about him He is constantly on my mind The way he stares at me Send shivers down my spine He never spoke a word But I could tell that he care By just listening to my problems And always being there His presence hypnotizes me For I can�t seem to move With his warm and charming smile I lose touch with my reality too I wish I could be part of his world To be free and have no worry Taking it one day at a time There�s no need to be in a hurry Next month it will be August So I must say goodbye I knew it�s too good to be true To love a calendar guy 7/27/02 |
| Finding My Destiny by lotus_princess To find my destiny I must travel to somewhere far Without a map or compass to rely on Only guided by the outline of the stars Crossing the driest desert On my two paralyzed feet No matter where I�m headed I will make my journey complete Climbing the highest mountain With my inadequate hands To reach upon its peak Though no one can understand Trekking through a blizzard All alone and cold I�m determined to find it Even though I will grow old Sailing across the ocean There are dangers in the sea But I am not afraid As long as I can attain my destiny The obstacles are more challenging For I am confined to one place My destiny awaits me But I can only move at a slow pace 8/01/02 |

| Waiting by lotus_princess Waiting in front of the doors For a kind soul to pass by Sometimes they let me in And sometimes I am left standing outside Waiting by the elevators For someone to be there But no one is in sight And no one gives a care Waiting for the bus To come and pick me up The driver is late again How long can I stay tough? Waiting at the doctor�s office A check-up once a year To receive a clean bill of health To calm the worries and the fears All my life I�ve been waiting For something special to come my way Few I have experienced So I must wait for another day 8/06/02 |

| If I Win The Lottery by lotus_princess If I win the lottery What would I do with all that money? I could spend it wisely And donate some to charity I could buy a huge mansion With a hundred rooms or more My families and friends are welcome A butler would greet them at the door I could go on trips Travel to different parts of the world Experience the wonders of each culture Be a well-known girl I could get a brand new van So I won�t have to wait for a ride My chauffeur would drive me around With my cute little dog by my side I could fund a research lab Develop the technologies to help people walk again Or maybe find a cure for cancer Then new hopes would soon begin If I win the lottery I could do so many things The possibilities are endless Oh, what joy money could bring 8/11/02 |
| Reality by lotus_princess In the cruel world of reality I stand alone Everyone has a life And eventually a family of their own I don�t see a future for myself Only living by the moment of each passing day While others around me move on I watch as my life slowly fades away In reality people are selfish Fighting for the wrong reason Life doesn�t revolve around them It goes on along with each new season Arguing back is a waste of time Because it only causes more pain Life is too short to bicker over nothing No one can win at this game People should reflect on what matters to them more Instead of hurting the ones they love The road to life is hard But they must try to rise above Though I don�t have much of a future I�ll always have my dreams Where everything is perfect And peaceful the way it seems 8/15/02 |
